Trick or Treat for the Dead Dragon

97 pages

Love wasn’t supposed to happen– but in Arrhythmia, the sweetest treats are the ones you never see coming.

Everyone thought Knox MacAllen died a century ago. He didn’t.
Presumed dead after an oil-rig explosion, the Texas Ranger and Dragon Guardsman spent the last hundred years trapped in Hell– fighting, surviving, and forced to serve a Demon Lord.
Then a Hellmouth spits him back into the land of the living.
But Hell still knows exactly how to find him.

Alicorn Shifter Maisie MacDonald takes one wrong turn through the Magical Wards surrounding Arrhythmia, Texas. She finds herself trapped with demons, ghouls… and one supposedly dead Bronze Dragon whose Dragon King immediately declares her their Mate.
The Alicorn Princess with whom she shares her soul agrees. Maisie does not, no matter how good-looking the man is, have time for a Mate.
But something marked Knox. Something is tracking him… And that is just not cool. She needs to help him… and keep her raging hormones and her Alicorn Princess at bay.

Then Knox says he’s leaving. He thinks it’s the only way to protect everyone he loves. Maisie thinks he’s an idiot.
Just another day in the Dragon Guard…

Welcome back to Arrhythmia, Texas—where monsters fall in love, Magic goes wrong, and Fate refuses to behave.
