He came back from the dead. But he doesn’t remember the woman he left behind.

For eight months, LVMPD detective Jordan Gonzalez believed the man she loved was dead. Benito “Benny” Drake, Air Force Pararescueman and member of the tight-knit St. Michael’s Solutions family, was gone, killed in a senseless accident, taking their secret relationship and the future they’d planned with him.

Then Benny comes back, missing nearly a year of his memories. He remembers his friends, his family and his life before Jordan. What he doesn’t remember is falling in love with her, moving in with her, or planning to make her his forever.

Forced into hiding together while powerful enemies hunt Benny and a ruthless cartel puts a price on Jordan’s head, they fall into old rhythms neither can resist. Every touch feels familiar and every kiss awakens something Benny can’t explain. And the more time they spend together, the more certain he becomes that what they had was far more than Jordan is willing to tell him.

Benny already came back from the dead once. This time, he has something worth fighting to stay alive for.
