We went to the Prom and Adele was acting weird.
First she was refusing to drink and then she said that she didn't feel well.
I thought that she wanted me.
And I was right as soon as I closed the door of the janitor's closet.
I turned the Prom into one steamy night in school.
Then we went to the hotel, the one that I’d spent the whole month saving up for us to have a special night.

The news that I didn’t want to hear.
She could be carrying my baby and she may have to say goodbye to college.
Being pregnant didn’t have to be the end of the world.
And it didn’t mean that we had to give up going to college. I had no intention of doing that and she wouldn’t have to either.
