It’s no secret that I’ve fallen on hard times, but in spite of it all, I try to keep my head down. The only goal I’ve had for the past few years is to survive. After helping out a woman in need in the laundromat I work in, she tells me about a job that sounds almost too good to be true. Sure, it’s housekeeping, and it’s for an affluent business owner, but it can’t hurt to at least show up to the interview. However, when I do, the man practically hires me on the spot.
