As town historian and curator of our tiny museum, it's my job to preserve the past of Horace, Illinois. So when bones go missing from a prized, ancient deer skeleton, I'm on red alert.
To make matters worse, they're discovered along with human remains across town, buried on historical property that is soon to be demolished, much to my chagrin.
