Nobody likes the c-word. No, not that one. Cancer. Especially when you’re only twenty-three years old. Plans were made, medically and personally in regards to my future. Since the family I was born into wanted nothing to do with me, I chose to create my own. Of course, that entailed seeking help. The company is reputable and I had no qualms about trusting them with my decision. And then I learned they gave me a sample of someone who’d stored theirs for personal use only.
Neither party expected such a mistake to be the best thing that ever happened to them.
