“I’m good mate. I need a favor.” I asked.
“Anything. You need help upping your game in COD? I know this kid who is wicked good.” He said with a chuckle and a dig at my gaming skills.
We had gone to school together and kept in touch, playing online as part of a school group until recently when he got caught up in things with his life and I became distracted with work and other things.
“Could you do a check for me on a guy who is sniffing around my girl?” I asked and Theo chuckled.
“Sure. Give me the name and I’ll have the information to you shortly.” Theo said.
“Hamish Proffitt,” I replied.
“Got it. You still dealing with the Warrior stuff?” Theo asked and I groaned inwardly. He had never questioned me on that part of my life, but he had warned me time and time again it would go down a dark path.
“Yeah. I have an online meet up soon.” I said and he hummed.
“With your skills, you could get this information yourself you know.” He said and I knew he was probing.
“I’m being watched. I am trying to lay low.” I added and I knew I was going to have to tell Katerina about this at some point.
“So, who is the girl?” Theo asked, changing the subject.
“The woman of my dreams.”

“We aren’t going there until you get your ass in the gym and do some training, Rina.” Leo snarled as we stared at each other.
“No. I need to see Victor, then I need to go to the dealership and pick up my new car.” I said, glaring at him.
“Not happening until I know you can handle someone attacking you from behind without freezing. I don’t care how good you are with a gun or a knife. You asked for my help, I’m giving it.” He said softly.
He wasn’t wrong. I needed to do more lessons and knowing that Egor was sniffing around my home had me a little worried even if I didn’t want to admit it.
Egor scared me. He was mean, calculating, and ruthlessly cruel, and the memory of the last attack filtered into my mind.
“I don’t have workout clothes with me,” I said as I looked out of the window at his gym.
Leo smiled wickedly.
“Then it is a good thing that my gym has clothes you can buy. Get out.” He said before he climbed out of the car.
I stared at him, not sure how to react. I couldn’t remember the last time someone had spoken to me like that, let alone bossed me around.
I was the boss and yet listening to Leo boss me around was, dare I say it…kind of sexy.
Damn, I had issues.
I climbed out of the car and glared at him, not wanting to let it show that I was getting slightly turned on by having a dominant man in my life again.
Yuri had been bossy too, but his bossiness was always tinged with humor, so it had been harder to take him seriously.
Leo opened the door for me, and the cool air and music washed over me as the women at the reception looked up.
I smirked at the woman from last time, Tamika I think as she narrowed her eyes on me.
“I have been waiting to get you all hot and bothered again,” Leo whispered as his lips brushed my ear and goosebumps erupted over my skin.
