“I…” He pressed a finger to my lips.

“Don’t. Don’t you dare ruin this moment by running again. I meant every damn word I said so just let me love you.” He snarled and I raised an eyebrow at him.

“What about Riley?” I asked and he shrugged.

“We talked. We are both on the same page with this. Whatever you want, we are okay with.” He said as he walked over to a small bar fridge and pulled out a bottle of water.

“So, if I wanted to be with both of you, you are okay with that?” I asked sarcastically and he nodded.

“Yeah. Hell, you can even add in that British bastard and we will deal with it. I saw the dynamic that your friends had and to be honest, even though I am not usually good at sharing, I like the idea that when I’m not there, someone else is.” He smiled as I felt my mouth open in shock.

“Besides, the more love you have, the stronger you will feel. How could I ask someone else to stop loving you without doing so myself? Riley has been hopelessly in love with you far longer than I have.” He tucked the strands of hair behind my ear and handed me the water.

“Drink. You don’t drink enough water.” He said and I took the bottle from him, trying to process what he said.

I watched him as he drank his own water, adjusting his still hard cock in his pants and couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something he wasn’t telling me.

“What is your past with Tamika?” I asked and he grimaced.

“Not a pretty one. I want to tell you about it, but not here. It is a long story. Let’s finish some training then I’ll tell you in the car later, deal?” He asked and I sighed.

“Deal.”

Hamish

Glancing at my house I sighed. The driveway was a complete mess of rubble, and I was told that the soonest anyone could get here to fix it was two weeks.

I groaned when I saw the reason for my added stress standing on the porch, surveying the mess.

I got out of my car with the box of peace offerings and smiled tightly.

“Mother. What are you doing?” I asked and she glared at me.

“You really should have this sorted by now, Hamish. What will the neighbors think?” She said and I sighed louder.

“I don’t care what the neighbors think. You should be resting.” I coaxed and she waved her hand at me.

“I’m fine, Hamish. What I need is a good stiff drink and two sons who aren’t hell-bent on putting me into an early grave.” She muttered and I felt the twitch in my eye.

I loved my mother as best I could, but she was a pain in my ass at the best of times. After our father died, something changed inher, she became darker and more bitter and I took the brunt of that.

She had never been involved with his extracurricular activities as she called them, not wanting to tarnish her family name.

I knew they had a strained relationship since being here in Australia and I was pretty sure it was regret. They married because of me.

Mother wanted the taste of a bad boy and found herself pregnant and her father insisted they marry. Dad loved her in his own way, but their worlds collided.

She was from a legacy bloodline. Wealth oozed from Elanor Kensington’s family, and they saw us as the stain on their family line.

“Mother. Tommy is fine.” I said as I took her elbow.

“Yes. Well, you better keep him out of prison, Hamish. Now. We need to do something about you.” She said and I raised an eyebrow at her.

“Me? What about me?” I asked and she eyed the box in my hand.

“You are thirty-three years old. It’s time for you to find a wife. We have been invited to a dinner party this weekend and I want you to attend.” She said and I felt the pounding of a tension headache.
