Fuck, look at me now.

Never did I think I’d be in this position, with a woman I love, fully prepared to marry her.

She’s become everything to me, and I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her happy.

She pulls back up slightly to look up at me, her expression turning more serious. “What is the club going to think?”

I bark out a laugh, “I don’t give a fuck what they think. You’re gonna be my wife and that’s that.”

She nods, though I can see the worry in her eyes. “I don’t want to tell anyone until after we get married, in case my dad hears we’re engaged.”

I run my hands up and down her arms reassuringly. “He isn’t gonna find out about us, Oak. I promise. We’re gonna quietly plan somethin’ within the next week or two, then get hitched. I do need to get somethin’ on your finger, though.” I take her hand, running my fingertips where her rings will go.

She shakes her head, “You don’t have to get me a ring,”

She leans in and kisses me, soft and slow.

When we pull back this time, the apprehension has left her face, and instead I see excitement.

I love this woman more than I can express, and she’s getting two rings whether she wants them or not.

She’s proven herself to me over these last few months.

Not only does she have a pure heart, but she believes in us.

Even with the looming worries over the club and her visa status, being here with her makes everything else worth it.

We might have only been together for a few months, but something about being with her feels right.

I might have always lived my life at full speed, I just never thought it would include my relationship.

Oakleigh

I stare at my reflection in the cracked mirror, braids tumbling over my bare shoulders, simple white sundress clinging to my curves.

I don’t even recognize myself.

Usually one to stick to gothic, skater-girl kind of clothing, and here I am in white . . . the color that represents purity.

In a way, I’m completely shocked this is even happening.

I’m getting married today.

Very soon, I will no longer be Oakleigh Mahon, I’ll be Oakleigh Ramirez.

Rosa’s gentle voice breaks through my thoughts. “You look beautiful,”

I turn to face her, eyes stinging.

She’s the closest thing I have to a sister, and ironically she’s one of Razor’s.

If it wasn’t for her, I’d have no one to stand beside me today.

She and Axel are the only two people we felt like we could trust to be with us today.

Anyone else would have blurted the news to my father and caused a whole scene.
