We could go home and I’d run a hot bath for us to relax in. Then I would make dinner and pamper him the way an omega should be pampered. And we could spend the night learning about each other. Because relationships can’t be all about sex, but I bet our sex life will be amazing.

My dick twitched in my pants, and a smile stretched across my face. I felt like I had ants under my skin. I needed to be outside in the fresh air, where the flowers bloomed, and the trees were a fall bouquet in oranges and reds.

I let out a heavy sigh and tuned back in to what my uncle said.

I needed to pull my head from the clouds and take notes. Julius chuckled beside me.

“What?”

“You.” He snickered more. “Just never thought I’d see you lose it over someone.”

“Well, he’s not just someone.” I frowned. “He’s my mate.”

“I know.” He smiled. “I’m a little jealous that you found yours.”

“We all have them. It’s just a matter of finding them.” I shrugged.

My uncle’s throat cleared. “Excuse me, Mister Aarons and Mister De Luca, something to add to today’s lecture?”

A large chunk of the other students turned to look at us, waiting.

“Um, no sir.” Julius smiled and looked at me. “You got anything?”

“No, sir.” I slumped in my seat and bounced my other leg.

The class laughed, and my uncle continued his lecture.

Julius snickered again, and we both remained quiet for the rest of the lecture. When he wrapped the class up and dismissed us, I turned to him, feeling like a kid on Christmas morning.

“Where’s his next class?”

He shrugged. “Who?”

“Don’t mess with me. Where’s Nolan’s next class?”

“Art history.” He stood up. “Two floors up.”

I put my books away, stood up, and tossed my backpack over one shoulder, walking towards the end of the seating row.

“Hang on.” Julius growled. “Since you’re going to be a pain in the ass, I’ll go with you.”

“It’s not being a pain in the ass if you want to see someone.” My lip lifted in a snarl.

“It is when your alpha can’t seem to stay away from his omega.” He tossed his notebook in his backpack and stood up, motioning for me to follow him. “Let’s go. Since this was my last class, I’m on guard duty.”

If he’s in the same building as I am, why don’t I smell apples?

We left the auditorium and walked towards the stairs.

“Julius. something’s wrong.” I put my hand out to stop him when I stand still.

He looks around at all the people. “Why do you think that?”

“I can’t smell him.” My head swiveled around in all directions while I scented the air. “He’s not in this building.”

Logan came running down the hall, and his eyes widened in panic when he saw me.

“Uh, Julius.” He gave me a wane smile. “Can I talk to you?”
