“Yeah?” I turned around and noticed the neck of her top rested just above her nipples.

“Um, I need to change.”

“No!” The boys looked at me like I had a second head. “Don’t waste time with that. Come eat while it’s hot.”

She narrowed her eyes, but a hint of a smile hit her lips. “Would you like coffee?”

“Please.”

“How do you take it?” She opened the cabinet door that caused confusion yesterday.

My mouth went dry watching the shorts stretched between her cheeks and the top moved up, exposing her pale skin.

“Creamy.” My voice dropped an octave, and she spun around looking at me.

“Henry?” She giggled. “Are you okay?”

“Hims hungry.” Dillon answered, and she threw her head back, laughing, making her breasts bounce and her nipples harden.

Leaving the boys at the table, I walked over, crowding her into the corner. Her blue eyes, twinkled with mischief.

“Need something?” Her voice was barely over a whisper.

I let my eyes travel down to the swell of her breasts and back up, mouthing two words to her.Call. Off.

“Here’s the bacon.” She smiled. “I’ll bring your coffee over after I make it creamy?”

A deep chuckle rumbled from my chest as I took the plate of bacon she handed me and went back to the table.

She came to the table with two cups of coffee and took the seat beside me. We each served a boy then got our plates ready.

The boys chattered on with pancakes stuffed in their cheeks and I think we both were in awe of how amazing this felt.

Pulling my phone from my pocket, I shot a message off to Jake.

Me

Won’t be in today.

Jake

Everything okay?

Me

Yep. Just need a day.

“No phone, Daddy.” Charlie pointed at me.

Miranda tilted her head and looked at my hands. “He’s right. No phones at the table.”

“Fam-lee time.”

“A man could get used to this.” I lifted my hand and, using my thumb, wiped a drip of syrup from the side of her mouth.

Her cheeks reddened, and I sucked the syrup off my thumb, feeling triumphant when she gasped.

I put my phone away and finished my breakfast, watching the boys have fun. When they finished, they took their plates over to the sink and put them on the counter and ran off to wash up.
