Damn.

She searched her pockets and found one minuscule bar of chocolate left.

This was a disaster!

She tore it open and popped the entire thing in her mouth, all at once.

She closed her eyes and just held the chocolate there, on her tongue, letting it melt slowly. She let out a soft groan of delight.

Delicious!

Chocolate was perhaps even more sinfully delightful than sex.

She opened her eyes and peeked at Sam Warner again.

Well. Maybe not more than, but definitely as delightful.

Then again, maybe she should conduct a little experiment.

No. A clinical trial.

Yes! She’d conduct clinical trials involving chocolate and sex and this human at her side, this Sam Warner, could be her first participant. Subject. Whatever.

“So.” She turned to face him straight on as the last of the chocolate melted in her math. “You want to have sex?”

Chapter Four

“WAIT. WHAT JUST happened?” Bygul demanded.

“I have no idea,” Tivali said.

“I moved the box!” Soraya exclaimed.

“Moved it where?” Muezza asked.

“Back to the waiting room. Now when the black kittens go in, they just portal right back out into the same room. Don’t worry. I replaced it with a perfectly ordinary box. The humans won’t even notice the difference.”

“If you say so,” Bygul muttered, “but that wasn’t what I was talking about.”

“Oh? What happened? I was a bit busy moving the portal box.”

“The demon-witch-fairy just asked the wolf for sex,” Muezza said.

“Just like that?” Soraya asked.

“Just like that,” Tivali said.

“I had no idea demon-witch-fairies were so forthright,” Soraya exclaimed.

“It’s gotta be the fairy in her,” Bygul muttered.

“Definitely,” Tivali agreed. “They’re way worse than demons.”

Sam was trying to figure out how to get his pretty mate to look at him when she abruptly turned and asked if he wanted to have sex.

Or at least that’s what he thought she said.

He was having trouble believing it though.
