“How about we go for a walk together? When I get back today from checking on my men, you and I can go out together.”

“I’d like that,” Maria replied, her hand sliding down to my hard crotch, biting her lip as she got closer to me, and just before she made contact, she walked off and went back to the corridor.

I laughed, a little confused, “What, wait, what just happened?”

“What?” She replied with a laugh.

“You were just about to…” I began.

“Do what?” Maria smiled and walked over to the pool, taking some water and pouring it all over her chest. I sighed at the sight of her wet body. She was teasing me again.

“I know what you’re doing, and you arenotgoing to get away with this. Once I am back on my feet, you’re the one who is going to suffer. I’m going to punish you so badly...”

Maria squeezed her arms together and came closer to me, “I would love tofeelyour punishment.”

“Well, sadly I do not have the strength to deal with you right now. But when I’m back from checking in on everyone, then we can talk about all of that. How about it?” I gave her a mischievous wink, wishing I had the strength to be with her. I would punish her as soon as I was physically able to.

“I want a fancy breakfast, and then I’ll let you go,” Maria replied.

“Consider it done. Whatever restaurant in town you want. Just call Dorothy, she’ll have whatever you want brought to you. Now you just stay pretty for me, and I will be back.” I kissed her lips, moved to her neck and down to her breasts. I felt her knees give way underneath me, and I held her, taking her weight in my hands.

“Angelo...” She whispered, already swooning under my teasing.

I lowered her to the floor and pulled back, smiling at her. She opened her eyes and looked up at me, confused. I winked, “That’s how you tease someone.”

“Oh, screw you!” Maria screamed, throwing a pillow at me. I laughed and walked over to the elevators.

I adjusted my tie as I rode down the elevators and walked downstairs into the lounge. As I stepped out, everyone was waiting for me. I noticed that a lot of the men had cuts and bruises on their faces, and Mike even had a black eye. Fisher stood with his hands folded and looked at me. He walked towards me and extended an arm, shaking mine heavily.

“Good to see you are on your feet, son,” said Fisher.

“Good to be on my feet,” I replied. “What do we have? How are we doing?”

“Well, we have managed to fight off the men who were trying to get in from the south side. The water treatment plant that shut down was one of the places which Vasquez’s men operate out of in our region. We discovered this after watching a few of his men.”

“You mean they had a hideout, righthere?” I asked, shocked.

“Yeah, and by the looks of it, it wasn’t just one,” Fisher continued. “We have plans to hit another warehouse down at the seventh district. We’ve noticed a drug ring running through the city and from all our research, it has nothing to do with us. We think it's Vasquez.”

“I see. When is this happening?” I asked.

Fisher replied. “We sent in someone to do a fake buy, get some intel. Once they return, then we will know.”

His phone rang, and he excused himself and walked over to the side to answer the call. I looked around the room and noticed that the men were all checking on their guns, getting ready to roll out. Even Mike had a gun in his hand, and he was not one to fight. I spotted Kevin and his older son in the back, loading ammunition into a small box they would transfer into the car.

“Hey, Mike.”

“Boss,” Mike replied. “How are you doing?”

“Good, what happened to your eye?”

He smiled awkwardly for a second, and then turned back to his gun. “We were in this crazy fight, and I got my gun knocked out of my hands, and well, you know, we had to go hand to hand. Took out the other guy… He definitely looks way worse than me, trust me.”

I grabbed his shoulder, forcing him to look me in the face. “Mike, this isnotwho you are. You aren’t the trigger guy, so why are you going out with them?”

“Because someone has to fight for this family,” Mike replied, putting a round into the chamber of his glock.

Fisher came back to me with a look of excitement on his face. “Alright, Boss, we just got the word, and it’s a go. The location is actually a front for Vasquez's people. If we hit the location now, we can flush them out for good. We’ve worked really hard this week, and with this, we will take out every single major operation on our turf where Vasquez has gone.”
