He was loved. Without doubt Michael was loved and he was so happy. He kissed Daddy Finn, making sure to tell him with actions since the words wouldn’t come how much Michael loved him in return.

Finally, Michael was placed on his feet.

His lips still tingled.

Daddy Finn looked ready to whisk him away.

“My turn!” Avery crashed into him, and they hugged.

Michael was quickly surrounded by his friends. It took a good ten minutes of Michael being passed around for him to greet everyone. The entire time Daddy was by his side, making sure that he didn’t get overwhelmed.

Jackson sat on one of the couches, watching him with an intense gaze.

His men.

So much had changed in the time that Michael had come to work at the club. He’d been hoping to make enough money so that he and his brothers didn’t have to struggle from day to day. Money hadn’t been a problem for months now. He was happy. He had two men that he loved, and they loved him back. The number of friends that he’d made filled a room. Life didn’t get better than this.

Even if it was loud.

“Twister!” Caleb called. “We have to play this.”

Michael laughed but made his way to where Caleb was setting up a game. He was looking forward to his weekend at the cabin coming up for his birthday, but this had been a fun and amazing gift as well.

The playroom felt new and full of laughter. The bad memories needed to be forgotten. He wasn’t like his parents. His parents didn’t have the same support and love that Michael did. Maybe if they had, then they would have chosen their kids instead of their addiction.

He needed to remember that even when he struggled, or doubted himself, when his brothers moved away that he wasn’t alone. Jackson and Daddy Finn had his back.

Finn

He laughed as he watched Caleb fall into Mitch, knocking both boys out of the third Twister game. The boys were having to take turns playing since there were so many of them. Finn liked having the special playroom filled with happy boys and pups and one very sassy kitten.

When he’d first had the thought to open the club, Finn hadn’t imagined that he’d ever end up here. Having a birthday, in Finn’s newly remodeled club playroom, for a little of his own.

A little.

Finn was as much of a Daddy as he was a Dom. Neither man that he loved deeply was the type of partner that Finn had expected. The fact that Finn could be so wrong just showed him that maybe Finn didn’t have all the answers. That even as the dominant partner he wasn’t always right.

Michael had taken one look at Finn and had wanted him.

Finn had been attracted, but clearly the younger man was off limits. Finn’s long nights of repeating that phrase was a distant memory. Michael had been Finn’s long before the first time they’d been intimate. Which still might not have happened if Jackson hadn’t decided to take it upon himself and break into Finn’s club.

Fate, destiny, or just part of his crazy life? Finn didn’t know or care how it happened. He was just thankful that his lonely nights were now filled with love and happiness.

“Marco is pulling out the cake and ice cream,” Skinner said, joining Finn on the couch where he’d been watching over several of the littles. “He wanted to make sure the candles were perfect. We sent Sammy and Creed to help him. Figured with those three we wouldn’t have a cake missing at least half the icing.”

“They do seem to be the responsible ones,” Finn agreed. “I appreciate your boy wanting to serve the cake and ice cream.”

“It makes him happy.” Skinner shrugged. “And I’ll make sure he is always happy.”

Finn understood the sentiment. More now than ever. “I never did thank you. About Jackson—”

Skinner lifted a hand. “I do not need a thank you. I wanted my friend to be happy. He’s happy. I don’t care how you did it. What it consists of. That is not my business. I do not like to intrude in other people’s business. However, I made an exception because I could see that Jackson loved you. You and Michael.”

“We love him too. I’m not letting him go.”

“He doesn’t appear to want to…run anymore. That is enough for me.”
