“No, really, look.” He points at his eyes; sure as shit, they’re filled with unshed tears.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” Ronan jabs at his brother.

“Shut up. That was beautiful. Don’t give me shit just because I have emotions, and you’re a robot.”

“I am not a fucking robot. You’re just an emotional baby.”

“Jesus Christ,” Finn grumbles in my ear, and I can’t help but laugh at the two of them still bickering in the background. He leans in and whispers, “Thank you, Angel.”

I look back at him and just stare for a moment, memorizing how at peace he looks now. Like telling me that story took a weight off of his shoulders. “Thank you, Love.” I lean forward and give him a featherlight kiss.

“Go say hello.” He gives me one last kiss on my nose before I climb off of him and head toward the still-bickering brothers.

“Hi, boys.”

Ronan grabs me first as his eyes rake over my body. “Stole another one of our shirts, I see.”

“Get used to it.”

He leans his face down towards mine, “You’ll get no complaints from me. You look sexy as fuck.” Holding me tight, he wraps one arm around my waist and threads one hand through the hair on the back of my head. “Missed you, Baby. Have a fun night?”

My cheeks blush, “I’m sure you already know the answer to that.”

His lips brush mine, “Hmmm… I love the sounds of your screams.”

If I were wearing any panties, they’d be wet. I think Ronan could talk me through an orgasm, honestly. Dirty, dirty man. He chuckles before giving me a quick yet hot, kiss.

Mac pulls me from his brother’s arms, “Hey, Princess.” His hands slide down my thighs, and he picks me up off the ground. My legs immediately wrap around his slender waste.

“Hey, you big marshmallow.” I tease him as I wind my arms around the back of his head.

Ronan laughs next to us.

Mac snaps, “Ronan, I swear to god if you don’t fuck off.” This only causes Ronan to laugh louder. “Ronan, stop teasing your brother,” I say in Mac’s defense, even though I’m trying to hold back my laugh because it is slightly funny. I really can’t believe Mac was about to cry.

Actually, yes, I can. He’s a teddy bear at heart.

“Yes, ma’am.” Ronan winks at me before walking towards Finn, who is still shaking his head in his chair.

“My hero.” Mac beams down at me like I saved him from the boogie man.

“You two are ridiculous. Hold on,” I look at his hair, then behind me at Ronan’s, “why is your hair wet?”

“We had to stop at Kings to shower.”

“Have some hot woman’s perfume all over you?” I ask, only slightly joking.

Mac quickly answers, “No, Harper. Just the blood of our enemies.”

I wait for the “just kidding,” but it never comes. “Wait, you’re serious?”

He kisses my forehead, “We’ll talk to you guys about it later. There are more important things to take care of.” I tighten my legs around his waist, ready for him to make good on the promise he whispered in my ear this morning, but much to my disappointment, he doesn’t move toward his bedroom. Instead, he sniffs in the air, “Harper, please tell me I smell burgers.”

I smile, “Yeah, I made you guys lunch. They’re on a plate in the microwave. They should still be warm.”

He gives me a deep kiss, causing me to moan deep in my chest. Once he pulls his lips from mine, he yells to Ronan in the kitchen, who’s already assembling one on his plate, “Ronan, she made fucking burgers! Burgers!” I don’t get what’s so impressive about burgers, but as long as they’re happy.

“I know, you fucking dumbass!”
