“Harper,” My eyes find Ronan’s. “You’ve branded my fucking soul, Baby. I never thought I’d find someone who captivates me the way you do every minute of every day. I thought I was destined to spend my life alone. Then, that night at the bookstore changed everything. You made my life worth living. You make me wake up every day wanting to be a better person.” A sob catches in my throat as I watch a tear fall down his cheek. “I love you more than I ever thought I could love another.”

“From the moment I sat next to you in the back seat of that car,” Finn says from the other side of Mac. “I knew I was lost to you. I wouldn’t change it for the world. You dance in the dark with me, Angel. You’re the piece that’s made a man who hasn’t felt whole for as long as he can remember finally feel complete. I’ll never be able to thank you enough for that.” Ignoring the cold, I drop to my knees right there in the snow in front of them. “You have given me everything I could have ever wanted and then some. A second chance at happiness. At a family. I love you.”

My eyes find Mac’s, who’s a sobbing mess between Ronan and Finn. “My Pretty Girl. You saved my life. You have opened your heart to me and fully embraced me for who I am. Every part of me. Even the part I try to hide from myself. When we kissed in that elevator, I knew right then and there, my soul was meant to find yours. I love you so damn much, Mo Grá. Now and always.”

I’m a full-on sobbing mess now. There’s no way this is cute, yet I can’t find it in myself to stop.

“We know we can’t really do this legally, but we’re yours in every way that matters,” Mac says as he opens the box in his hand. “Marry us, Harper Hayes. Be our wife.”

He doesn’t ask because it’s not even a question. “Of course, I’ll marry you.” I look between them with tear-filled eyes. “Yes, yes, yes.”

Finn’s up off his knee first. He lifts me off the ground and swings me through the air. Gently setting me down, he pulls the ring from his box. It’s a gold band with five black diamonds. “For the darkness in us that you crave.”

Ronan walks forward and crashes his mouth to mine. When he pulls away, he opens his box. It’s the same as Finn’s, but instead, it has five white diamonds. “For the light inside of you that has filled the cracks of our souls.”

Mac’s in front of me next, and I can now see the giant pear-shaped emerald ring in the box he’s holding. It sits on a gold band with a halo of diamonds around the deep green center stone. “We don’t deserve you, but we’re keeping you anyway.”

Mac kisses me fiercely, both of us crying tears of joy.

Finn slides his ring on first, followed by Mac’s, and then Ronan’s, creating the most beautiful stack of jewelry I have ever seen in my life.

The four of us eventually make our way back down to the apartment after deciding to skip dinner entirely. I spent the entire night being loved and worshiped by each of them. We made love, knowing it was the start of our new lives together. And once our bodies were fully spent, I laid back in bed, listening as they bickered back and forth.

It was at that moment that I felt the last piece of my heart fully heal. The one that I didn’t even know was still broken. I now know what it feels like to be at peace.

Because these three men—these dangerous men—will always be here to keep me safe.

THE END.

Epilogue

Four Months Later

Ronan

“You really think he’ll go for this?” I ask Mac while nervously adjusting my tie in the reflection of the full-length mirror Harper put in my room for today.

“I think it’s perfect. Hell, we might even make him cry,” he answers from behind me.

I huff out a laugh. “He’s going to cry today anyway.”

Shit, I’m going to cry today.

“Yeah, but we’re not going to make him cry. She is.”

Mac looks over my shoulder and finishes tying his matching tie just as Finn pushes through my door. “You guys about ready to head upstairs? Pascal just came down to let me know everything’s all set. Emma went to check on Harper.”

Mac pats me on the ass like a tool. “All you champ.”

Turning to face Finn, I answer, “Yeah, we just wanted to talk to you about something quick.”

His eyes widen. “What? What happened?”

“Nothing happened, man.” He walks over to my dresser and grabs the large manila envelope before returning to stand next to me. “Here, open this.”

Finn slowly opens the envelope and pulls out four large pieces of paper accompanied by four social security cards. His brow pinches in confusion. “What are these for?”

“Would you just read the damn papers, Finny,” I answer.
