“Oh. My. God. It is.” Rochelle waved. “Jeremy!”

Great. Angie shook her head. There went her chance. Right. Like I have a shot with tall, dark, and tatted. She watched as Jeremy bounded the stairs and smiled at Rochelle.

“Rochelle, great to see you again.” He gave her a quick hug and stood back.

“Nice bike. Is it new?”

“Yeah, got it last month.”

“Awesome.” Rochelle squinted. “Does it have a parallel twin or a V-twin?”

“V-twin.”

“Only the best, right?” Rochelle ran a hand through her long brown hair.

Angie crossed her arms. Yep, she was out of her league. All she would have known to ask was whether it was black or blue.

“Right.” Jeremy grinned when he saw Angie. “Angie, you look –”

“Like a little girl who’s trying too hard.” Rochelle tilted her chin and glared at Angie.

Bitch. Why did Bailey have to invite her cousin to be in the wedding party? Bailey Richards and Rochelle were second cousins, and Bailey was marrying Angie’s brother, Niles, that weekend.

“Rochelle, watch it.” Jeremy’s jaw clenched. After he stared at Rochelle, he turned his attention to Angie. “What I was going to say was that you look gorgeous, and all grown up.”

“Thanks.” Angie blushed and shuffled her feet. The navy-blue dress she wore wasn’t something she usually chose, but she had wanted to impress Jeremy. The fabric clung to her curves.

Since Jeremy had graduated high school, he’d only been back in town once. Angie had been sixteen the summer that Jeremy had stolen her heart during his two-week visit.

Not that anything had come of it as he had been twenty-four and had never touched her. Not even a peck on the cheek when he left. But that hadn’t stopped the three years of fantasies she’d been dreaming up.

“Seriously, Jeremy, she’s young enough to be your little sister,” Rochelle said.

“I don’t have a little sister.” Jeremy leaned over and drew Angie into his arms.

Her heart slammed in her chest. Wow. Angie’s nipples tightened as his rough hands slid along the thin fabric of her dress. She yearned to fall at his feet in a heap.

Jeremy released her. “It’s good to see you, Sugar.”

Angie’s legs wobbled as she tried to steady them. “You too. Niles wanted me to show you where to go.”

“I’ve got this, Angie. Don’t worry your pretty, little head. I know the way.”

“But–”

“Shh. Niles isn’t going to want Jeremy sniffing around you. He’ll freak out. Jeremy is known for his one-night stands.”

“Rochelle!”

“What? You going to deny you’ve had your fair share of the ladies?”

Jeremy glared at her.

“Seriously? What were you going to do? Play patty-cake with little Miss Innocent? She doesn’t know the first thing about pleasing a man like you.”

“God, you’re disgusting.” Angie couldn’t believe what a ridiculous scene Rochelle was putting on.

“I’ll show you the way. While we’re at it, I’ll fill you in on the nasty things I can do.” Rochelle laced her tattoo covered arm through Jeremy’s arm and pulled his elbow the direction she wanted him to go.
