“Of course.” She jumped into his arms and squealed when he pinned her against the shower.

“How soon do you think it will be before you fall in love with me?”

“Never.”

“What?”

Angie laughed and swatted his arm. “I fell in love with you when you stood on the first step of my momma’s front porch. You were so hot in your low-riding jeans.”

“You only love me for my jeans?”

“Fuck, no. I love you for the “v” that goes into your jeans.”

“Wench.”

“And that you took the time to get to know me. And your caring heart.” Angie gasped as Jeremy’s dick slid between her folds and into her hole. “Oh, and I love your hard cock.” She panted as he pounded into her body until they both climaxed as the water turned cold.

CHAPTER EIGHT

Twelve hours later, Jeremy grabbed Angie’s hand and pulled her to the dance floor. It had been four hours since she’d been in his arms. “Did you miss me?”

Angie nuzzled his neck. “Since you rocked my world in the walk-in cooler?”

“Yep.”

“You know I did.”

Jeremy laughed as he swung her around. Angie was going to make him loose his mind. He sobered as she slid down to rest her heels on the ballroom floor. “I’m sorry I wanted so long.”

“Don’t be. I needed to grow up first. And, Niles would have freaked out.” She shuddered. “And my dad. He would have had you shot.”

“Good point. I’m glad I waited.”

“Waiting makes you appreciate things more.” Angie looked over at Niles and Bailey. “Like my brother. He took forever to find the woman for him, and then he waited for ages to ask her to marry him. Maybe a little too long on that front.”

“Is that a subtle hint?”

Angie raised her eyebrows. “Do you need me to hit you over the head with a two by four instead?”

“Nope.” Jeremy pulled a box out of his pants and dropped to one knee. “Angie Douglas, will you marry me?”

“Oh!” Tears streamed down her face as he slipped the ring on her finger. Her other hand covered her mouth.

“Yes.” She giggled as the crowd clapped. “I wasn’t expecting it yet. I just meant – don’t wait two years.”

“I’ve already waited for three years. I’m not waiting to make you my wife.”

Niles walked to them and punched Jeremy in the arm. “Seriously, dude, you’re upstaging me.”

“Yep. That’s what you get for punching me in the face.”

“Congratulations.” Bailey embraced them both. She frowned at Jeremy. “I can’t believe you bought a house on our street and didn’t say anything about it.”

“Something around here has got to be a surprise.”

Once they left, Jeremy grabbed her hand and walked her to the hallway. “Where to?”

“I saw a gazebo when we pulled up yesterday.”
