“All right, I’ve been struggling with my... feelings for Dirt.”

This is where a good man would leave a private conversation between mother and son, but I need to know how she feels.

“Being around him is like having a wildfire roaring inside me,” she confesses. “But at the same time, I’m terrified.”

“Of what?” Tobias asks.

“Of losing him.” Lore’s voice is barely audible. “The MC lifestyle is dangerous, and I can’t help but worry that one day, it’ll swallow him whole.”

“I get that, Mom. But you know Dirt can handle himself. He’s been part of that world for a long time.”

“I know,” Lore admits. “But that doesn’t make it any easier.”

“Mom,” Tobias says gently. “You can’t let fear dictate your decisions. If you love Dirt and want to be with him, you have to trust him to make the right choice.”

Knocking on his door as I don’t want to hear anymore, I smile at the two of them. “Hey, man, thought I’d come visit. How you doing?”

Tobias smiles. “I’m doing well. Doc says I can go home soon.”

Lore stands, and I kiss her lips, then look at Tobias. “You shouldn’t rush it.”

“Now you sound like her.”

Draping an arm around her shoulders, I say, “Well, your mother is a smart woman.”

Lore lightly slaps my stomach. “I don’t know about that.”

“He’s right, Mom, you are, and what’s more, you know it.” Tobias yawns. “I must be due for a nap.”

“Honey, I only just got here.” Lore moves away from me.

“Sorry, Mom, I think I overdid it in therapy.” His gaze flicks to me. “Dirt, why don’t you take her out of here and make sure she gets something to eat?”

“I can do that.”

Lore frowns. “I’ll be back tomorrow.”

Tobias chuckles. “I’ll be here.”

Lore walks ahead of me out of the room, and I turn to look back at Tobias. “Enjoy your nap.”

“Talk to my mother,” he says with no small amount of force. “And don’t fuck it up.”

Gripping Lore’s hair around my fist, I pound in and out of her as she whispers my name like a prayer. Her knuckles are white as they grip the vanity in the bathroom of this cheap motel. Burying my face in her neck, I taste the saltiness of her skin with each press of my lips. My hands roam her body, driven by an intense need to touch every square inch of her.

Our bodies slam together, creating a rhythm that echoes through the small space. Each sound we make fuels the inferno between us.

“Please,” she begs, her voice desperate and pleading. “Don’t stop.”

Together, we climb higher and higher, the world beyond fading away until there is only this moment, this connection, and this all-consuming love.

“Come for me,” I whisper in her ear, my voice thick with emotion.

And she does. Lore shatters beneath me, the force of her climax ripping through her like a tidal wave as she clings to the vanity for dear life. Moments later, my body tenses with the intensity of my release before we both collapse in a tangled heap of limbs and sweat onto the cold tile floor.

As our breaths steady and the aftershocks of pleasure subside, we lay wrapped in each other’s arms, and I want this moment to last forever. Lore’s fingers trace circles on my chest as I brush her hair away from her face.
