Tonight, we will either win or die trying.

The last of Shadow’s men were brought down. Las Vegas is painted in red, and the Savage Angels MC has made its mark. But it isn’t over yet. We’re in the clubhouse, where Dane is anxiously waiting for a call from Sal.

Unable to sit still any longer, Dane pulls his phone out of his pocket and walks outside. I follow him since no one is killing my president tonight.

“Sal, it’s Dane. Things have escalated,” his voice rough with exhaustion. “Now’s the time to strike at the heart of the Abruzzi family We’ve done our part. It’s time for you to do yours.” Dane ends the call and looks at me. “Message bank.”

“Shit.”

“Yeah.”

“You worried?”

Dane slips his cell phone back in his pocket. “Yes.” He shakes his head and then asks. “I don’t like this. Can you travel?”

“Yes, it’s a through and through. I’m sore, but I’ll be fine.”

“Let’s get back to Tourmaline.”

“Are all the loose ends tied up here?” I ask.

Dane nods once. “All the rats in the clubhouse were weeded out tonight. My only concern is whether Sal and his men struck at the heart of the Abruzzi family. If they haven’t, we’re in for a world of pain.”

“And he’s not answering his phone?”

Dane gives a somber shake of his head. “No.”

“Shit.” I take a deep breath. “Brother, have you called Kat or your sister? Are they safe?”

Dane’s steely expression hardens further. The gravity of the unspoken answer hangs heavy in the air. He finally breaks the silence, his voice tight with concern. “Kat’s not picking up, and I can’t reach my sister. Something’s not right.”

An uneasy chill settles over me. The air crackles with unspoken fears. Without another word, we both reach for our phones. The weight of unanswered questions threatens to engulf us all.

He nearly lost Kat once and went mad with grief, but to lose her, his sister, and his children?

No one will be left alive.
