Elizabeth left hours ago.
I tried to speak to her, but she ignored me and instead had a mumbled conversation with Tye at the front door before she left.
Zeus was sprawled over the sofa beside me, eyeballing me.
“What?” I snapped with irritation as he shrugged.
“You look pissed.”
“No shit,” I mutter, tapping away on my laptop.
“What happened?” Zeus rolls his head to mine, his eyes dark. “Have you fucked it up?”
Tye strode over, staring at me with narrowed eyes.
“What the fuck is this?” I wave my hands in the air, sending them both death stares.
Like they knowanything.
“This wasn’t the agreement, and youknowit.” Tye fumed, hands on his hips.
“Can someone please tell me what the fuck is going on?” Zeus demanded, sitting up.
“Lizzie is in love with Reign.” Tye stared at me as he spoke.
Zeus rolled his eyes. “Isn’t everyone?”
“No, not everyone, Zeus.” Tye gritted out with irritation. “Lizzie.”
Zeus glanced back at me with a frown. “Where does that leave us?” He asked slowly, lacing his fingers behind his head.
Tye's gaze flickered over Zeus, but he dragged his eyes back to me.
“Lizzie can’t help how she feels. But Reign told her it was nothing more. Right?” Tye folded his arms, staring down at me with disdain.
“You don’t understand,” I say with a grimace. “She can’t be in love with me.”
Zeus and Tye exchanged a look.
“Why?” Zeus asked.
“She just can’t,” I muttered, wondering how to tell them what Elizabeth had just told me. It wasn't my secret to tell, but there couldn't be another way around it. I needed them to be there for Elizabeth.
Tye sank into the seat opposite me, and we sat silently for a minute.
“We all care about Lizzie, Reign,” Zeus said, cracking his knuckles. “But we care about you, too. You two feel things for each other. Come on, man. It’s not just a Dom and sub relationship, and you know it.”
“It has to be—it’s complicated.”
If Elizabeth knew what I’d done with AJ after what she’d just told me…it didn’t bear thinking about.
