Agnes nodded, a few tears escaping down her cheeks. “I’d love that. Jack or Jackie it is.” She shot a sidelong glance at the upended pizza box. “I suppose I owe you a new pizza.”
“You certainly owe me—but I can think of better ways to pay your debt.”
“Oh yeah?”
“Yeah.” Cora leaned in for another kiss.
“Care to tell me what you have in mind?”
Cora pulled away from Agnes’ lips just long enough to speak. “How about I show you?”
Then she dove in for another kiss.
