And sprinted at Rachel in a surprise attack.

My heart leapt into my throat.

Delgado had height, weight, and more physical power.

A 230-pound guy against a 140-pound woman?

The deck was stacked in his favor.

The only things that could counteract his natural advantages were speed, accuracy, and better training.

Rachel quickly demonstrated that she had all three.

She sidestepped him at the last second and kicked out sideways as hard as possible.

He staggered back to his feet, hopping on his one good leg. “I’m gonna kill you, you fuckin’ WHORE!”

“Hobble on over here and try.”

Delgado came at her swinging –

But she dodged his punches and kicked his injured leg again.

He screamed again as he fell to his knees –
