I turned to Auggie. “Do you still have those pictures on your phone the photographer gave us from the headliner?”
“Absolutely I do.”
“Send me one where I look cute with all of my clothes on.”
“You got it, babe.”
Auggie sent me one where I was perched on my crescent moon, my skin aglow from the glitter and the reflections off of the equally sparkly mini dress I wore. I sent it over to Stella.
Stella:
Holy shit! You look BEAUTIFUL
I sent her a kiss emoji and tucked my things away to head out on stage.
The night went flawlessly. I raked in the tips and took myself, half-asleep, back to the pack house, relieved when I was indeed allowed to go through the community gate.
Luca had left the lights on for me. I snuggled down to sleep and await his arrival after feeding the cats, both little anchors curling up on top of me as I drifted off.
I woke only briefly when Luca climbed in next to me, and I was not at all ready to be awake when my alarm went off a couple of hours later. I pulled on a simple sundress and made myself some coffee while Luca continued to sleep.
I was halfway through my cup when Luca slipped up behind me, taking a deep inhale at my throat before taking my cup and gulping down the rest of my coffee.
“Why are you awake already?”
“I got lonely and I smelled coffee.”
I glanced down. “Why are you wearing jeans?”
“I kind of fell face-first into the nest when I got home. Not even enough energy to strip.”
“All the more reason you should sleep longer.”
“Only if you come join me,” he replied. “I can’t sleep while you’re wandering around.”
His fingers slid across my stomach and up to cup my breasts, thumbs teasing my nipples through the fabric. “Come back to bed. I’ll make it worth your while.”
“Will you now?”
“Mhmm. Promise.”
I let him lead me back to the couch nest. If he wouldn’t go to sleep on his own, I was happy to wear him out a little bit before I got some work done. I stretched out on the blankets and drew him to me.
It didn’t take long before my dress was around my waist, Luca’s mouth on my skin, his shirt discarded, and my panties bunched in his hand.
The front door swung open, footsteps echoing in the cavernous space. “Babies! Where are you?”
