“Hey.” He calls out huskily and I can’t get there fast enough. Any ideas of playing it cool forgotten at the sight of the god sitting astride his steel horse.

He jerks his head to the bike and holds out a helmet.

“Jump on baby.”

I don’t need a written invitation and slide behind him, loving the strong body rippling beneath my fingers as I grip him around his torso.

The beast starts up and the low rumble of power heads straight between my legs as I shamelessly react to a man I really shouldn’t be seen with.

He doesn’t fit into my world. He would scare the shit out of my friends and yet the conversations we’ve had this far are worth more than any meaningless ones I’ve had with people who are supposed to be the people of power tomorrow.

Apollo has a different kind of power, and it causes a weakness inside me I don’t know what to do about.

The wind stinging my face causes me to bury it into his back and I love the scent of alpha male that has always been a particular favorite of mine.

He is my ultimate dream and I hope like hell this evening ends how I want it to because the more I think about it, the more I realize that until I’ve had a taste of him, I haven’t lived.

We head out of the city to the open countryside, and it must be thirty minutes later before he stops at an old bar that I never realized was here. The lights seem at odds with the darkness of the surrounding countryside and as we park the bike, I remove my helmet and stare around me with curiosity.

“What is this place?”

There’s a sign above the door saying Blue’s Bar and he cuts the engine and says gruffly.

“I’m guessing it’s a place the likes of you wouldn’t think of heading to.”

“The likes of me.” I raise my eyes and he grins, that panty melting smile of my downfall that I can’t resist.

“Come on, princess, it’s time to see how the other half live.”

We head inside and I swallow hard because this bar is downright dirty.

The stench of stale beer and cigarettes hang heavy in the air and the music is loud, courtesy of a band playing country music through a smoke infested haze.

The lead singer is a pretty girl dressed in a low-cut figure-hugging dress and cowboy boots, her red hair long and curly, complementing her startling emerald eyes.

Apollo takes my hand and strides to the bar, leaning on it as if he owns the place and the bartender heads our way with a huge smile.

“What can I get you?”

“Two beers.” Apollo says as he drops a fifty on the counter and kicks out a bar stool and points to it.

“Take a seat, princess.”

He sits astride one opposite and I hate that my first thought is to wipe the stool because it appears the previous occupant wasn’t so careful with his drink.

Apollo is watching me through predatory eyes, and I shrug and head over to him instead.

He raises his eyes as I move between his legs and whisper, “One damp patch inside my panties I can cope with. The one on the outside is a step too far, even for me.”

His gaze flicks to the stool and the sexy grin on his face makes my heart pound as he reaches out and runs his fingers around my head and grips my hair, pulling my greedy mouth to his and kissing me so deeply I swear my toes curl.

He is in no hurry to release me either and I swear I’m in heaven, not hell, as we deepen the kiss as if nobody else is watching.

As kisses go, this one is the most passionate one of my life. He tastes of freedom and adventure. There is nobody here to report back to my brother. None of my friends will see me and I could be anyone right now. I am here with a man who lights my fire every single time and I’m impatient to move this on so I can die happy.
