I look over at Ridge, who shakes his head. "Naw, we’re good.”

Beck and Mad look at each other for a second before coming farther into the room.

“Where are the girls?” Beck asks, looking around the room.

I point to my bedroom before walking over to the kitchen to grab some coffee. “You guys want any?” I ask, holding up the pot.

They all nod, so I start making everyone a cup. I grab two extra and carry them toward my room. When I open the door, I see the girls under the covers, arms wrapped around each other. Bresin’s head pops up, her eyes lighting up as I walk closer. I set both cups on the nightstand next to the bed before leaning over Ireland to kiss Bresin’s forehead.

“Thank you,” she whispers.

“Anything for you, little girl.” I kiss her on the lips before walking out of the room, shutting the door behind me.

When I turn to look at the guys, both Maddox and Beckett have grins on their faces, while Ridge is trying not to grimace. “I just think they’ll get married one day.” The thought of having Bresin as my wife is definitely something I can see happening.

"Please, don't talk about that shit," Ridge groans. "I don't need to think about them having sex or any of that crap. I'm still trying to accept them even being together."

I can't help but laugh. At some point, he's going to have to get over it. I take a seat at the bar and take a sip from my mug.

“So you know who this asshole Jackson is?” Beckett asks, getting right down to it. It’s one of the things I love about the guy. He isn’t afraid to ask the questions the rest of us are thinking.

“Somewhat. He wants me to do some selling for him. I turned him down, so I think that is why he is focused on Bresin.”

I try hard not to grit my teeth at the mention of this fucker wanting to use her to get to him. I slam my hand on the counter. "He's coming after her because you wouldn't sell for him? Why come after her?" I want to protect her from this shit, but it doesn't look like I'll be able to unless I'm with her all the time. They've tried to get to her more than once now, and I'm coming up blank on ways to protect her when I'm not around.

“Fuck,” Ridge mutters, looking toward the floor. “How do we keep them safe?”

"We don't let either of them go anywhere without one of us," Beck says from his spot on the couch.

"Yeah, good luck with that," I grumble. Trying to get Bresin to do what I want isn’t the easiest thing. She refuses to do what I ask just to piss me off sometimes.

“They don’t get the choice. We need to keep them safe,” Beck returns.

“I agree, but I know Bresin. She won’t go down without a fight.”

All three of them snicker at that. I just shake my head. They have no idea how fucking feisty she can get when you tell her she can't do something.
