“I was hoping you could help with it. I studied how they did it at Longwood Gardens. I think we could replicate the setup, but I need more hands.”

“You got it. Just tell us when you need our help,” Knox said, and the others nodded in agreement.

“I appreciate it.” It felt good to ask for help. To know my brothers always had my back.

Knox threw up his hands. “I’m getting married today. Maybe you could give me advice.”

“Only one of us is married.” I nodded toward Emmett.

“You got any sage advice for me?” Knox asked, his brow raised.

Emmett lifted his bottle. “Yeah, don’t fuck it up. You’re lucky to be with a woman as good as Sarah, and you’re getting Addy as part of the package.”

I shook my head, and Heath let out a groan.

Knox tipped his bottle to his lips. “Not exactly specific.”

“You’re going to screw up. It’s inevitable,” Emmett continued.

“I don’t know how productive this is,” I teased.

Emmett held up a hand. “I’m getting there. I hate to say this, but communication is key. If you sense that something is off, you probably just said or did something wrong. Talk to her. Figure out what it is. Because women love to ruminate over things before they eventually blow up, and you don’t even remember what happened.”

Knox nodded. “Talking is vital.”

“Own up to your mistakes,” Emmett continued. “And never stop dating your wife. We got married quickly, so we made a vow on our wedding night to go on dates once a week, and it’s the best thing we ever did.”

“Never stop dating your wife.” Knox took a long pull of his beer.

“You’re going to be busy, especially since you already have a kid. But you have to make the time,” Emmett said.

We’d never heard Emmett give advice, not like this. Since it was not something we’d seen or heard from him, everyone was hanging on to every word.

“No matter how many years you’ve been together, they still want to be acknowledged, even on Valentine’s Day. Don’t say that bullshit about it being a commercial holiday and you think it’s cheesy. Women still want the flowers and the chocolate. They want to know that you thought about them.”

Knox’s forehead creased. “It’s our anniversary, so hopefully, I won’t fuck that up.”

Everyone chuckled.

“That’s a minefield because you’ll want to acknowledge that it’s your anniversary and Valentine’s Day.”

Knox sobered. “I hadn’t thought of that.”

“Find ways to be romantic, caring, and thoughtful outside of those days, too.”

“Do I want to know how you make Ireland feel special?” Heath teased, and then must have thought better of it because he groaned and held up a hand. “Please don’t answer that.”

“I don’t want to know either,” Sebastian said.

Knox looked at each of us. “Thank you for this. I didn’t realize how much I missed getting together.”

“We hang out all the time,” I said.

“But you’re not always there, and as we pair off and get busy with our now families, we can’t forget about our relationship. We’re living here because we believe so strongly in family.”

“Our kids will grow up together. They’ll be close, going to school together and taking care of each other. Just like we did,” I said, and everyone’s attention turned to me.

“You think you and Holly will have kids?” Knox asked carefully.
