And now I’m officially crying. But I have one last thing to say.

I turn back to Ben. “I love you. Thank you for making my dreams come true.”

We gaze at each other, our eyes saying the things we don’t have words to express.

Everything else happens quickly. And then it’s the most incredible part, when I finally hear, “You may now kiss the bride!”

Ben flashes me a watery smile and says, “Finally!” Then he sweeps me into his arms and kisses me; just a taste of what we’re going to do later when we’re alone.

Everyone is cheering as Mr. Clancy announces Ben and I as husband and wife.

“I’m so happy,” Ben says once he breaks the kiss. He hasn’t let me down yet—my feet are still dangling. And I love it, being completely supported in his embrace. “I love you, Mrs. Lewis.”

Joy makes me breathless for a second. “I love you, Mr. Lewis.”

Laila rushes over and tries to hug both of us. She’s so excited, she’s skipping in place. “You’re married! You’re married!”

“Yeah, sweetie.” Ben lowers me to my feet, but doesn’t release me. He casts an affectionate look at Laila. “We’re married now. Now, we’re officially a family.”

A family. Me. Ben. Laila. And maybe more children, if we’re lucky.

Looping my arms around Ben’s neck, I stretch up to whisper in his ear. “Maybe we should start trying to make our family bigger. Soon?”

His eyes brighten, a smile stretching across his handsome features. Desire and love fill his gaze. “Absolutely.” A pause, and then his lips quirk into a crooked smile. “Maybe we should start tonight.”

Everything else fades, and it’s just us in the room. “Yes. Tonight sounds perfect.”
