“Same. Walking through the woods naked and barefoot is not my idea of a good time,” Jade said.

Neither of the women could walk well, even when they shifted. Their back paws were torn up.

There was another rumbling sound as the rocks started to fall closer to the front.

Zac and Marvin scooped up the women and took them outside. Two other shifters dragged Marsden out just as the tunnel began to cave in.

A huge silver dragon, bigger than all the others, approached and then shifted.

“Jennifer and her group are waiting for Marsden and the crew at the bottom of the mountain. We have five dragons that are going to fly them down there. Hopefully, everyone remembers to fly high enough that the witches don’t get scraped along the treetops as they go,” Lucius said.

As he spoke, the dragons lifted the witches up in their talons and took off.

Lucius looked at Olivia and Jade. “You good?”

“Pissed,” Jade said. “We didn’t hear them coming and they sent a paralysis spell before we could react. I would love to poke Marsden in the nose a couple of times.”

Olivia nodded, agreeing with Jade.

“I’m sure that they will not enjoy their time in their cells. It’s my understanding that they have a toilet, sink, cot, a pillow, blanket, and nothing else. The witches won’t have anything that they might use or manipulate,” Lucius said.

“That is my idea of hell,” Olivia said.

Zac looked at her, knowing that she was thinking of the cell that she had been thrown into by Declan.

“I can take Jade down the mountain,” Marvin said.

“I’d be pleased to take Olivia down,” Lucius said. “Perhaps they have a healer who can take care of their feet.”

Lucius saw the look on Olivia’s face and laughed. “We don’t carry friends the same way we carry enemies. You can sit right in front of my wings and hang on. It’s just like riding a horse.”

Zac kissed Olivia and said that he would see her down the mountain. Lucius and Marvin shifted back into dragon form. Olivia carefully watched how Jade mounted Marvin and then did the same.

Having never run down the mountain so fast in his life, Zac was completely out of breath when he reached the area where everyone had met. The evil witches had already been taken into custody and were on their way to the witch’s version of hell.

Jade and Olivia were sitting next to each other. They had found their clothes, the tunics tossed into a heap off to the side. Marvin blew a bit of fire on them, and then stomped it out once the tunics were reduced to ashes.

An older woman with a single long black braid down her back was touching Olivia’s feet and muttering something. A surprised look sprang into Olivia’s face, and she wiggled her toes.

“Wow. My feet have never felt so good in my life,” Olivia exclaimed. “It’s like my feet just got a mega massage.”

The witch smiled and moved to Jade’s feet. She performed the same ritual. Jade sighed and said, “It was totally worth it to feel this.”

“I don’t know if I would go that far,” Olivia said.

Olivia hugged the witch and said, “Thank you.”

“You’re welcome. Just remember, not all witches are bad,” she said.

Jade hugged and thanked the woman, and then the witch got into her car and left.

“Boss, can I have the night off?” Olivia asked Sean.

“I don’t know. You just got a foot spa treatment. You should be good to go,” Sean teased.

Jade growled at him and stuck her tongue out.

“Since you have the night off, how about you come home with me? I’ll make dinner and we’ll hang out,” Zac said.
