Ciarra smiled up at me with her big green eyes shining full of happiness.

“You’re glowing,” I told her while swaying to the Shania Twain song blasting from the speakers on the other side of the dance floor.

“It’s going to sound cheesy, but Josh completes me. I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with him.”

I chuckled. “I’ll remind you of those words ten years from now when kids are hanging on you and Josh is working late for the third time that week.”

Ciarra laughed and slapped my chest. “I would never complain!”

“About the kids or losing the honeymoon feelings?”

“Feelings, of course. You know I want a dozen kids.”

I shuddered and grimaced. “See, that’s why it never would have worked between us, darling. Add in the fact you don’t like your men sunshiny sweet who joke all the time—same as Addilyn.” I grimaced over my inadvertent mention of her but hurried on. “It’s those bad boy alpha types you both went for, just like my sisters who fight over book boyfriends.”

“Oh!” Ciarra’s eyes sparkled. “Speaking of sisters…” She glanced around, her lower lip between her teeth. “Look who’s finally made it to Anchorage,” she said and pointed to my right.

I glanced over—and about swallowed my tongue.

Dark wavy hair brushed over the top of a tiny, tight backside encased in red silk that swayed in time with the music. Silver heels made her appear taller than what couldn’t have been more than five foot two at the most.

The guy she danced with allowed her to lead, and she turned, bringing her profile into view.

Strong nose, high cheekbones, and full lips…

Sister, Ciarra had said, but other than height, they didn’t look like the twins Ciarra had told me they were.

I glanced down at my friend. “Nissa?”

She smirked up at me, letting me know I’d stared a few seconds too long. “Yeah.”

“But she doesn’t look like you.”

“Fraternal twins, you goof.” She slapped my chest playfully again. “I showed you pictures.”

I glanced back over at Nissa, contemplating Ciarra’s statement. I had seen a few images of her sister, and while I’d thought Nissa was pretty, those pics hadn’t been clear or done her justice.

Stunning was the first word to pop into my head—ball-achingly so. The curve of her mouth while speaking had my lips tingling for a taste, but something about the way she moved flared the darker desires I hid inside to life.

I wanted to sink my teeth into the skin where her graceful neck met her shoulder. The gentle sway of her hips made my fingers itch to grasp and bruise. Lust shot through me at the thought of holding her down and torturing her with my dick until she sobbed and begged for release—

“Earth to Leo!” Ciarra poked me, and I tore my focus off her sister, not realizing I’d been staring again.

Life had stirred in my groin for the first time in weeks from that short-lived fantasy.

“Don’t get any ideas. We may be twins, but we’re nothing alike. And I mean nothing.”

“She’s a wild one, huh?” I couldn’t help but glance Nissa’s way even though Ciarra’s words meant her sister wouldn’t compare to how perfect I’d found Addilyn to be.

“Then again…” Ciarra trailed off, and I turned my attention back on her upturned face to find a calculated glint in her eyes.

“What?” I asked, my voice wary to my own ears.

“Oh my God, why didn’t I think of this before! You’re just what she needs.”

“I don’t—”

“Come on.” Ciarra grabbed my hand once more and led me toward Nissa and the guy she maneuvered around the dance floor. He had tattoos up one side of his neck and a hoop through his eyebrow.
