"Wonderful." I offer her my arm. "Shall we?"

She winds her arm through mine and we make our way out front to where my car is waiting. Flashing me a seductive smile, she slips into the passenger's seat and thanks me as I close the door for her. I don't know what it is about this woman, but I'm borderline-obsessed after one day.

"Where are we going?" she asks when I get in and start the car up.

I glance at her and a mischievous grin tugs at the corner of my lips. "It's a surprise." The thrill of the unknown seems to excite her even more, if that's possible.

As I drive, I can feel her eyes on me, curious and expectant. I find myself stealing glances at her every now and then, admiring the way the light plays on her hair and the curve of her neck.

Finally, we arrive at our destination – a small, cozy restaurant tucked away in a quiet corner of the city. Mia lets out an excited gasp as she takes in the romantic setting.

"This place looks lovely," she murmurs, taking my hand as we make our way to our table.

"It's my favorite spot," I admit, taking her hand and leading her inside.

The hostess greets us warmly and seats us at a table by the window. As we sit down, I find myself enjoying her company more and more with every passing moment. The conversation flows effortlessly between us, with each word sparking new thoughts and ideas.

"You look very handsome tonight," she compliments generously, striking a chord somewhere inside of me.

A flush rises to my cheeks as I smile back at her. "Well, I had to look my best for the most beautiful woman in the room."

Mia giggles, a sound that makes my heart skip a beat. "You're such a charmer."

I lift my glass of wine to her in a toast. "To a wonderful evening with a wonderful woman."

As we clink our glasses together, I can't help but feel something stirring in my chest. It's an unfamiliar feeling, one that I haven't felt in a long time. A feeling that every time I'm near this woman, it just feels right.

I order a bottle of red wine for us to share, and we choose our meals from the menu. The wine arrives in due course, and we pour ourselves glasses as we wait for our meals. Mia takes a sip of the wine, closing her eyes in appreciation.

"This is delicious," she murmurs.

I smile at her fondly. "I'm glad you like it." I resist the urge to reach across the table and touch her face, to trace the outline of her lips with my fingers.

Instead, I give her a sly grin. "So, Mia, tell me more about yourself."

She laughs, shaking her head. "What is there to tell?"

I study her face closely before replying. "I don't know, anything. You seem so confident and collected on the outside, but I'm curious about what's going on inside that beautiful mind of yours."

Her eyes widen in surprise before she lowers them to her plate with a shy smile. "Well...I guess you could say I'm a bit of a dreamer. I always knew I wanted something more out of life than what was expected of me."

"And what's that?" I ask softly, sensing the sincerity in her voice.

"A sense of adventure," she replies after a moment's hesitation. "To explore new places and meet new people."

"It seems like your dream has been coming true," I remark.

As the night wears on, we continue to talk and laugh, enjoying each other's company immensely. It's only when the restaurant starts to empty out that we realize how late it is.

"I should probably get you home," I say regretfully.

She frowns and murmurs as she swirls the last sip of wine in the bottom of her glass, "Don't you mean take me home?"

I can't help it--I grin, big, wide, cheesy. She wants to spend more time with me. She has no intention of ending the night with me dropping her off at her home, but taking her back to mine.

"Of course," I amend, "how silly of me to slip up like that. Shall we head back, then?"

Mia nods eagerly, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "I'd like that very much."
