We all share a moment of lightheartedness, the joy and playfulness swirling around us. It's a reminder that our relationships are built not just on love and commitment, but also on laughter and shared moments of levity.

Mia's eyes sparkle mischievously as she looks at each of us. "If I ask you something, will you promise to be honest with me?"

A smile tugs at the corners of my lips as I respond, "Mia, we've already promised each other complete honesty from the very beginning. You know you can count on us."

Lucas chuckles, joining in the playful banter. "She's right, Antonio. No take backs, remember?"

Mia's grin widens as she playfully nods. "Exactly! You guys can't change your mind now. We're in this together."

Feeling the warmth and comfort of the moment, I can't help but laugh along with them. "Okay, okay, no take backs. Ask away."

Mia's expression becomes serious as she turns her gaze squarely to me. “What would happen if people found out about us—about the three of you and me?”

I take a moment to gather my thoughts before responding, appreciating Mia's desire for complete transparency. "Sweetheart, I won't sugarcoat it. We've got enemies. There are plenty of people looking for any way they can find to take us down in business, and as a mafia family."

The sobering reality of my words startles us all, and I feel the need to keep pressing forward. "Unfortunately, if they were to discover our relationship with you at its center," I pause before continuing in a quieter voice, "they may try and use it as leverage against us."

Lucas nods somberly in agreement while Xavier takes Mia's hand protectively in his own. We exchange knowing glances that linger silently between us for a few moments longer than necessary—each one understanding the risks involved yet determined not to back down from them.

Lucas nods in agreement. "We typically try to make sure our personal life is kept private, or as much as possible. But if you and we become high profile enough that people start connecting us to each other? Well, it'd be a big scandal."

Xavier joins the conversation with a grave expression on his face. "The media frenzy around it would be huge—we can't lie about that. Our business rivals could easily leverage this against us by trying to taint our reputation with the public."

Mia's eyes widen slightly at these words, but she remains steadfastly resolute in her courage and strength of character despite what she has just heard from us three men—all leaders within the mafia family?whose lives are constantly under scrutiny for any sign of weakness.

"Now it's our turn to ask questions," I insist, glancing toward the other two.

Lucas looks curiously at Mia, "Do you really care about all three of us?"

Xavier follows up quickly with his own query. "Do you have a favorite?"

Mia looks back and forth between the three of us. Her gaze lingering on each one in turn with a soft expression that speaks volumes as she slowly shakes her head no.

We wait for an explanation but instead she takes our hands in hers giving them gentle yet firm squeezes as if reassuring herself that we're still together despite whatever external forces may come against us. Finally after what feels like ages Mia finally responds, "I...care deeply for each and every one of you equally." She pauses to smile warmly at Lucas before continuing more quietly this time, "Each one of you offers something so beautiful and unique. It would hurt me to have to pick one of you over the other."

I grab her chin, guiding her attention toward me. "What if... what if all four of us were together at once?" My gaze darts between Mia's eyes searching for her true reaction while Lucas and Xavier look at us with anticipation waiting for her response. "Would you want that?"

Mia takes a deep breath before finally speaking up again, “Are you asking what would happen—” she pauses briefly, taking note of our collective posture which has shifted noticeably towards each other as she speaks—“Is that even possible? Would you guys be okay with it?"

She looks both excited yet apprehensive by the prospect as well—tempted by its possibilities without completely understanding them or their implications.

Lucas leans in, resting his hand on Mia's thigh once again. "Of course we would be okay with it," he murmurs softly. "We want you to be happy, and if being with all three of us makes you happy, then we're all for it."

Xavier nods in agreement, a thoughtful expression on his face. "It's not like we haven't thought about it before," he admits, glancing at me and then back at Mia. "But we didn't want to pressure you into anything you weren't ready for."

I nod, taking Mia's other hand in mine. "We care about you too much to force you into something you're not comfortable with. But if this is what you want...if it's what all of us want..." I trail off, leaving the unspoken question hanging in the air between us.

Mia's expression is a mix of excitement and nervousness as she considers our words. "I don't know," she finally admits, her voice barely above a whisper. "I mean...it's kind of overwhelming to think about." She looks up at us, earnestly searching our eyes for any hint of doubt or hesitation.

But there is none to be found.

I feel a surge of desire pulse through me at the thought of all four of us being together in that way. It's a taboo that I've always secretly desired, but never dared to bring up before. But with Mia here, and our trust and love for each other so strong, I feel emboldened to take the risk.

Finally, she nods slowly, her eyes shining with determination.

"I want this," she says softly, a hint of steel in her voice. "I want all of you."
