Page 36 of Her Three Hitmen

In that moment, the world melts away and it's just the four of us. Mia's vulnerability has brought us closer, and my heart beats with excitement at the thought of what could be.

Xavier takes Mia's face in his hands, looking into her eyes with a tenderness that makes my heart ache. "We're not going anywhere," he murmurs, pressing a soft kiss to her forehead.

I pull her in closer to me, feeling her breath on my skin. "Then let's make a promise," I suggest, staring into her eyes. "Let's promise to always be honest with each other, no matter what."

Antonio and Xavier nod in agreement, affirming their commitment to our shared promise. Mia smiles warmly, her eyes glimmering with tears.

"I promise," she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

"Me too," Xavier adds, his hand wrapped tightly around Mia's.

"Always," Antonio chimes in, squeezing my arm in solidarity.

As we stand there, the weight of our promise sinking in, I feel a sense of liberation and newfound closeness with my team. We're not just individuals facing challenges alone, but a team that will tackle anything that comes our way together.

Mia looks up at me, and I see her eyes filled with desire. Without a word, I lean in and capture her lips with mine. The kiss is soft at first, but then it deepens as our passion intensifies.

For a moment, I forget about everything else – the risk, the complexities, the potential consequences – and just let myself be consumed by the moment. The heat between us is palpable, and the passion that runs between us is undeniable.

"I want you to know," Xavier says, taking her hand and sitting beside her on the bed, "that while our position may bring danger, it also gives us the power to give you anything that you could want in life."

She giggles softly and teases, "Are you trying to bribe me?"

He grins devilishly. "Is it working?"

The four of us laugh, settling down on the bed.

"Well..." Mia starts thoughtfully, "I guess some clothes wouldn't hurt. And some decorations for my room? Wait, can we go to my apartment? I want some of my things, too."

Antonio chuckles, shaking his head. "At this rate, you might as well just move in."

A blush covers her cheeks as she bites her lip, silencing herself. The idea isn't a horrible one, though. She's already going to be staying with us for the time being, and since the three of us have no intention of backing off, well, she probably won't be returning to her apartment anytime soon.

"Might as well make it official," I announce, catching everyone's attention.

She stares at me with wide eyes. "Really? You want me to move in?"

I nod firmly, my eyes never leaving hers. "Yes, we do. Don't you want to be with us?"

Mia's expression softens as she takes in our eager faces. "Of course I do," she whispers, her voice barely above a whisper. "I've never felt this way before. I want to be with all of you."

Antonio grins and pulls her in for a tight hug. "Then it's settled," he declares. "You're officially one of us now."

Xavier nods in agreement, his eyes shining with excitement. "Welcome to the family," he says warmly, his hand resting on her thigh.

“You guys can't change your mind now," Mia says, grinning with excitement. "No take backs!"

Lucas laughs, rolling his eyes playfully. "What are we, in high school?"

She giggles cutely. "I'm just saying! You're stuck with me now."

"Actually, darling, I think you're stuck with us," Xavier teases in turn, squeezing her thigh greedily.

Playing along, Mia feigns a dry expression. "Oh no, what a terrible fate. However will I cope?"
