"Come here," she says, patting the space on the bed beside her. "Let's all cuddle."
I feel Antonio tense beside me, but I can't help but comply with her request. We both climb onto the bed, situating ourselves around her, our arms wrapping tightly around her body. It's an intimate moment, one that fills me with a sense of warmth and belonging.
"I've missed you all so much," she whispers as her fingers tighten in my shirt as if she's trying to keep me where I am. "Thank you. For coming for me."
"Nothing could have stopped us," I tell her, believing the words with my entire being.
"He's right," Antonio agrees.
Xavier nods in agreement and leans in to place a soft kiss on Mia's forehead. "We're your family, baby. We won't let anything or anyone hurt you."
Mia closes her eyes, exhaling a deep breath of contentment as we all lay there, wrapped up in each other. It's as if we've all been given a new lease on life, with an opportunity for something greater than what we had before.
"I love you, Mia," I say softly, pressing a kiss to her forehead.
"I love you too," she replies with a smile.
"I love you too, Mia," Antonio mumbles sleepily.
"Love you more," Xavier adds with a grin.
We all chuckle, the sound filling the room with warmth.
The three of us continue to revel in Mia's presence, refusing to let go of her even as sleep starts to creep into our minds. It's been so long since we've been together like this, all of us intertwined and sharing a bed, that the moment feels surreal. I want to savor it, to wrap myself up in the feeling of her skin against mine and the warmth of my brothers' bodies beside me.
But there's something nagging at me that won't let me fully relax. It's the way Mia's fingers are tracing patterns along my bare chest, curving and dipping over the muscles there. It's the way her breath is coming in soft little gasps against my neck, her lips dangerously close to my ear.
I know what she wants, can feel the need radiating off of her in waves, and it's almost enough to make me forget that we're not alone. But then Xavier is shifting behind her, his hand coming up to stroke over her shoulder in a gesture that's both possessive and reassuring.
I can feel Mia's body pressed up against mine, her warm breath tickling my neck. Her hand absentmindedly tracing circles on my chest sends shivers down my spine. I turn over to face her, our eyes meeting in the dim light of the moon filtering through the window.
My gaze drops to her lips, full and plump. And before I know it, I am leaning in and pressing my mouth to hers in a heated kiss. Her response is immediate as she eagerly kisses me back, her tongue dancing with mine in a sensual dance.
She pulls back and looks at me, then Antonio, then Xavier, and says the three most powerful words. "I need you."

"Are you sure?" Xavier asks tentatively.
Lucas's hand is still cradling my cheek. "Are you up for that? It's only your first night back and-"
I stop him from continuing with a gentle, loving kiss. "I'm sure. The only thing I need right now is to be loved by the three of you."
"You can, sweetheart," Antonio promises. "You can have it for as long as you want."
I look into his eyes, feeling the vulnerability and emotion rise in my chest. "Forever. I want it forever."
Xavier chuckles. "Then we'll figure it out. Forever."
I kiss him deeply, grabbing him by the shoulders as I do. His arms wrap around me, pulling me into his body so that I straddle him. Lucas sits up and starts kissing down my arm from my shoulder while Antonio settles himself behind me, reaching around to cup my breasts. I moan, leaning my head back and resting on his shoulder.
Yes. This is exactly what I need.
All these years I've been living in fear, alone, struggling to stay alive. Now I have all three of my protectors and they're holding me gently, loving me, and making all my dreams come true. It's an overwhelming realization that something so wonderful could happen to someone like me. To someone like us.
The thought makes me quiver.
