“Me too.”

Lia released Aubrey from the hug and smiledbrightly. “There’s been a development.”

“With what?” Alaric asked.

Galen, who was sitting on the couch in thesitting area of the suite, said, “Slade found his truemate.”

“Really? Where?” Aubrey asked.

“It’s your friend, Gretchen. They met, hepassed out, and then he shifted. It’s a good thing the lobby wasnearly empty or there might have been some explaining to do,” Liasaid.

“That’s so cool!” Aubrey said. “Are theycoming to dinner?”

Galen shook his head. “Slade texted me whenhe shifted back to human form and said he’d meet us for breakfasttomorrow. You know what this means?”

“What?” Aubrey asked.

“I’m next.” Galen’s brows wiggled and a biggrin split his face.

“And then me. Woohoo!” Lia did a littledance, with her short, black skirt fluffing as she moved.

Aubrey looked up at her mate and he smiled.“You’re good luck, sweetheart.”

“I am?”

Nodding, he said, “Because of you, my brotheralso found his mate. Maybe Galen and Lia will be lucky enough tofind their mates in Belle Terra, too.”

“I hope so,” Lia said wistfully.

“I’d like to go to bed right now,” Galensaid.

“That’ll have to wait. We need to discuss ourcontract with Jonathon, our plans for the future, and Aubrey’sbrother is joining us.”

“I’ve never met a master vampire before,” Liasaid. “What should we call him?”

“Caleb is fine,” Aubrey promised. “Vampireswho swore an oath to his kiss call him Master, but you’re part ofthe family now, so you can call him by his name.”

Alaric looked down at Aubrey. “Are you readyto go to dinner?”

“The sooner the better,” she said.

As the small group left Lia’s room and walkedto the elevators, Aubrey squeezed Alaric’s hand tightly. Shecouldn’t believe that her best friend was now mated to herbrother-in-law. She had wondered if, when Slade began to have themating dreams and had to move on to find his mate, Alaric wouldhave wanted to leave with his family. She couldn’t imagine theirfamily wanting to be apart after being together for so long. Atleast for now, until Galen started having mating dreams, they couldall be together.

She looked up at Alaric as the elevator doorsslid shut and headed to the lobby. He was her mate. The sexiest guyshe had ever laid eyes on was hers for the rest of their lives.Someday—soon she hoped—she would have his children, and theirlittle family would grow. She could now call Gretchen her sister intruth, and that was sweet, too.

“What are you thinking about?” Alaricasked.

“Kids.”

“Cubs,” he corrected.

“Right. I was thinking about having yourcubs.”

He purred and her stomach clenched.

“Seriously? I want to eat dinner. I’mfreaking starving,” Galen grumbled.

Alaric hauled Aubrey close with a gruff soundand said, “We can talk more tonight. Dinner first. Thendessert.”
