“Deal.” The abrupt way Leo jumped to his feet made his head swim and his vision dance with darkness before Piper reached out to steady him, bringing him back down to earth.

“Water and ibuprofen first,” she ordered.

PIPER

The snick of the door closed catapulted Piper toward Leo in a crash of tongues, teeth, and lips. He had been toying with the hem of her dress in the booth at breakfast, and she’d been ready to jump him the whole car ride back to her house. Her chest rolled into him as he kept pushing her farther into the living room, their limbs tangling as she worked to remove his belt. Leo’s talented tongue trailed up the column of her throat as she slipped the sleeves of her dress down her shoulders.

“Wait a minute.” Leo broke away, taking a step back.

“Do you not feel okay?” Piper tried not to let her disappointment show.

“Estoy bien. Will you spin for me? I feel like I didn’t really get to appreciate the dress last time. We were too busy pissing each other off.” He circled one finger in the air. It was too cold, but the sunflower dress she had worn to breakfast was a calculated decision, one she knew had messed with Leo’s head. He had kept her plenty warm with heated glances and his hand resting on her thigh all morning.

“And what do you want to appreciate about it?” Piper let her voice drop into a low and sultry murmur, slowly spinning as she looked over her shoulder at him.

“The way it brushes against your thighs. God, I want your thighs wrapped around my head. I want to bite them till I leave a mark.” Leo stepped into her with a fire behind his eyes that she wanted to burn forever. He slipped two fingers into the gap between the buttons holding together the front of her dress. “The way the only thing separating your breasts from me are these four little buttons. I love it when you don’t wear a bra, Piper.” His fingers swirled behind the fabric and found one pebbled and sensitive nipple. “How do you want me this time, mi vida?”

“I don’t want you on your knees,” she huffed out quickly. When a confused expression crossed his face, she explained. “I want you with me the whole time. I want it slow until we can’t take it anymore. I want to feel every part of you against me, filling me. I just want you.”

Leo unbuttoned the top of her dress with slow, deliberate fingers before he leaned in for an even slower press of his mouth to hers. She opened to him, and his tongue dragged unhurried over the entrance to her parted lips.

“I can do that.” The low gravel of his voice sent a shiver down her spine, and she could feel her nipples harden more against his chest. Leo, never missing a single thing when it came to her body, brought his hand back up to her buttons to unclasp the remaining three. “And I’m going to suck on these.” He cupped her breast, and she relaxed into the warmth of his hand.

“Can I…” Her hand dipped down to the hem of his pants, then further, groping over the erection tenting his pants. “I want to suck you.”

“You don’t have to.” Leo shook his head.

“I want you in my mouth.” Piper held his gaze for a long moment, unwavering in her confidence, before Leo finally broke.

“Fuck,” he hissed. “Sí.” He gave a frantic nod, like the opportunity might pass if he didn’t agree with fervor. “I want those pretty, red lips around me.” Piper went to drop to her knees, but Leo grabbed her arm, shaking his head again. “Get on the bed. And when you suck me off, I want you naked, with your back arched and ass pointed to the sky.”

There was only time for a quick nod of agreement from Piper before their mouths and hands found purchase as they stripped each other bare. Until skin was on skin and the only thing left to do was take, body, heart, and soul. Leo backed through the doorway to her bedroom first and sat down on the mattress, pulling Piper along as he shifted their position back to the billion throw pillows she had adorning her bed. They had never spent time in her apartment before, and she watched in real time as Leo hit pause on devouring her to take in the state of her room, organized right down to the highlighters on her desk.

“I should hire you as my interior decorator. You know, someday, when I can afford you.” The smile he gave her was devastatingly handsome as he lifted his hand and brushed his fingertips over her cheek. It was such a simple statement, and yet it hit the nail in the coffin for how utterly screwed she was when it came to loving him. Her heart was soaring. Compliments from Leo were like a golden glue fitting together the broken pieces of herself. “Your parents would be so proud of you.”

“You can’t say things like that to me,” Piper said, but broke out into a wide smile that made her cheeks ache.

“Well, that face makes me want to say it again.” Leo cupped the nape of her neck and met her smile with a slow press of his lips that turned heated. He tasted like cool mint, and the reminder of that made her jerk back.

“Oh!” She bounced in her seat, her breasts bobbing with the movement. “I have to show you something.”

Leo’s eyes dropped to her chest and closed the distance that she had created with all her excitement. He gave her a pleading look and tried to kiss her again, but she wiggled free as his low voice asked, “Right this second?”

“Sorry.” Piper giggled and rolled off the bed. “One second.” Leo let out a disgruntled puff of air and fell back into her down pillows, which made a dramatic slapping sound at the contact. She ignored his theatrics and grabbed a small metal box off her desk, bringing it to the bed. Leo lifted himself onto his elbows, still fully naked and erect, eyeing her down like he was going to eat her alive. “Here.”

Curiosity crossed his face when he sat all the way up and gave a good look at what she was holding. “Is this what I think it is?” Leo gingerly took the box from her hand like it was already his most prized possession.

“That depends on what you think it is.” Piper smirked.

“Smartass.” He shook his head and opened the latch, slowly nodding as he looked down at the contents. “You made me an inspiration box.”

“Yeah, it’s not a big deal.”

“Don’t downplay it,” Leo warned.

“You’re right.” Piper drew out the word like a child who had just been scolded and fiddled with the sunflower pendant at her neck, the only thing she was still wearing. “It’s a big deal. I made you one because I kept finding things that made me think of you.”
