“Hi.” I laid my handbag on the bar’s surface.

“Oh no,” she rolled her eyes with a nervous sneer, dropping the rag, “why do you have that look?”

“Emilio Rovati’s in room three.”

She nibbled her neon pink bottom lip for a moment as lust filled her eyes.

“And he personally requested you.”

A broad grin stretched wide across her face. “Oh, hell yes!”

I snickered. “I thought you’d say that.”

“He wearing a suit, or did he come in black jeans and a black button up?”

I wiggled my brows. “Suit, tie, vest under the jacket and everything.”

“Say no more.”

“Like you wouldn’t want to do it either way.”

She cackled, picking up the cloth again. “Yeah, but Emilio’s got two sides to him, so I like to know which one of his personalities I’m getting. Emilio or Diavolo.” She raised both her hands to the top of her head, grinning as she curled two fingers into devil horns.

Shaking my head in amusement, I flickered my gaze. “Finish doing whatever you’re doing and head in there.”

She bowed her head, picking up another glass, holding it up under a light.

“Tyler will be watching everything from the control room.”

“I hope he enjoys the show I’m about to give him, then.”

“Aurora—”

“I got you, Jadeee.” She winked.

“Amber will be back on the floor in a bit.”

She nodded as I left her to finish her prep work. I went to find the other girls, letting them know about the change before Amber came back downstairs.

I felt my phone buzz against my chest, and I quickly took it out, seeing Luke’s face on the screen as he FaceTimed me. I looked around to make sure that everyone was doing their assigned tasks. A light technician was on a ladder nearby, replacing a bulb, while another stood below, supporting him. I ignored the call and sent it to voicemail.

I marched over, checking the time on my watch once again. “Are you guys almost done?”

“Yes, ma’am,” the one holding the ladder replied.

The man by the ceiling finished screwing in the bulb and peeked down. “All done, Ms. Sinclaire.”

“Thank you.” I scanned the room on my way toward the exit. Moments later, the house lights dimmed, and the night-time atmosphere began. Pink, Blue, and Purple danced across the big space and a song played at an ambient volume in the background.

I adjusted the AirPod in my right ear just as Luke called a second time, and I answered. “Hey, Daddy.” I whispered, blowing a playful kiss at the screen.

You think shooting me to voicemail is cute, huh brat?

I giggled.

Get a room. Chance snorted in the background.

He faced the phone toward him and Declan who were both staring in half disgust before bringing the camera back to his face. Let me go to the back room.
