What was so important for her to return to?

Much of her work could be performed online. In fact, in a short while she had a video conference with a client. Unfortunately, the case involved a pretty ugly divorce, which hit a little too close to home.

Shutting her eyes, she shoved work and Charlie out of her mind and focused on herself.

When had she last done such a thing? At home, when the alarm buzzed, she rushed through her morning to get to the office before Charlie. Walking in at the same time he did was the worst possible start to her day, so she made sure she was in her office before he pulled up in his silver BMW that he got by trading in the sensible vehicle they bought together.

She wasn’t even going to let her mind revisit why they purchased the vehicle with all the safety features and a spacious back seat. It hurt too much to think she’d believed it was only a matter of time before they were hauling kids around.

After only a few short days with Piers and Ash, she found she couldn’t think about Charlie as a husband, let alone a man. She’d always thought he was so handsome with his California boy coloring and his athletic build like he just stepped away from a game of beach volleyball.

In a suit, he had every woman in the courtrooms panting for him to glance their way. Unfortunately, more than one woman got that attention.

Next to Piers and Ash, though…

They were…well, men. Real men. Rough, rugged and ready. With their longing looks and deep kisses filled with meaning, they managed to restore her self-esteem.

Ugh. She really did need to climb out of this big, comfy bed and ready herself for that video meeting. When she booked the trip to the ranch, this meeting slipped through the cracks of her mind and left her no choice but to utilize her resources and technology for the appointment.

She spent a few minutes while she quickly showered to mentally go over the case. While the divorce was cut-and-dry, splitting the assets had become a fight much like her and Charlie’s own divorce.

Ugh. Charlie. She wasn’t yet to the point where she didn’t want to push him into an active volcano for cheating and breaking her heart…but being here in Alaska had definitely soothed her.

Piers and Ash were good for the body and the soul, it seemed.

“Why are you smirking?”

She turned at the low, gravelly tone to find Piers in the doorway of the bedroom.

Looking at the man, she swore her ovaries started working overtime to drop more eggs just for a chance to have his sperm unite with them.

He wore a plaid shirt with the collar open to bare a bit of tanned chest sprinkled with dark hair. The sleeves were rolled over thick forearms lined with veins and sinew. Those worn jeans had her pulse leaping. Even his dusty cowboy hat pulled so low over his eyes to conceal the dark depths from her turned the panties she just pulled on into a useless scrap of cloth.

His eyes softened as he stared at her. “If you keep looking at me that way, I’m going to undress you.”

Puffs of air escaped her faster. “You don’t know how much I want that.”

Ash stepped up behind Piers. “I do. I can see your nipples are puckered from here.”

The air grew charged with the lust that surrounded the three of them each time they were together.

“You guys are getting me flustered. I’m going to have pink cheeks for my video meeting.”

They cocked their brows at the same time, Piers the right, Ash his left, as if they were mirror souls of each other.

“Video call? You didn’t tell us about it.” Piers stepped into the bedroom, allowing Ash through the doorway. He leaned against the frame, looking like a hunky, muscled model for Wrangler jeans. They sure hugged his body to perfection.

Sylvee twisted toward the full-length mirror to distract herself before she let her men carry her off to bed for the all-she-could-eat buffet and unlimited orgasms.

“I have a client that slipped through the cracks. I need to keep the meeting, so my assistant scheduled me for a video meeting.” She smoothed the hair off her forehead and fluffed the sides.

They traded a look.

“What’s that for?” she asked.

Piers spoke up, “No cell phones allowed. We’re supposed to collect them when you get to the ranch, but we forgot.”

“Are you serious?”
