“Yeah. It’s in the contract. You can use it for travel but once you get here, it’s hands off everything but your Boot Knocker.”
“But I need to take this client.”
They exchanged another glance.
“We’ll allow it since you’re not going to do anything that risks the ranch. How long will the meeting take?” Ash’s drawl sounded like he was focused on anything but what she was saying.
When she glanced at his reflection in the mirror, he was staring at her ass.
Okay, her dress was a little on the short side. She’d packed it with fun in mind and not a business meeting. The hem line may ride high up her thighs, but the top was cut in a modest scoop neck, and the deep blue was one of her favorite colors to wear.
Judging by the looks the guys were giving her, they took notice of the dress’s attributes for other reasons.
“I hope it won’t take more than half an hour.” She swished her hair to the side so she could fasten a necklace with a tiny, minimalistic diamond pendant around her neck.
In the mirror, she saw both men move in. Piers’s lips landed on her throat. Her insides clutched with want as he explored the sensitive spot under her ear. Ash gripped her hips from behind and ground his erection into the seam of her buttocks. The flimsy dress material left nothing to the imagination about how big and hard Ash was even if she didn’t already know firsthand.
She exhaled on a moan and reached up to cup each of their faces. When she looked into the mirror and saw the three of them together, her heart dipped as though she was on the rollercoaster back in the local theme park they visited as teens.
Stunned, she stared at their reflection.
She could be pregnant right now—with their child.
If she was, how could she ever walk away?
Ash leaned close to nuzzle her other ear while Piers brushed his lips over her throat again. “What time is your call, baby?”
Brought down to earth, she jumped. “Four-thirty, this time zone. What time is it now?”
Piers grabbed his phone from his jeans pocket and glanced at the screen. “Five minutes, love. You’d better get a move on.”
Flustered, she fluffed her hair again. “Can you tell that all I’ve done is have raunchy sex for days on end?”
Ash stepped around her to pinch her chin lightly between his thumb and forefinger. Looking deep into her eyes, he rumbled, “Yes.”
“Oh no! Do I have hickeys on my neck?”
Piers darted his head right and left to see. “Not a mark, which is surprising. Ash likes to give beard burn.” His eyes glittered when he looked at their mutual lover.
Sylvee breathed a sigh of relief. “At least I look like I can still represent my client in court!”
Both men nodded. “All I see is happiness on you, Peachy. Ash and I will be out on the patio waiting for you. Come out when you’re finished with your call.”
When they left the room, she replayed their words in her mind. What Ash said socked her just as hard as the way her stomach pitched at seeing the three of them in the mirror.
All I see is happiness on you.
Was she happy? After the last long and painful two years she’d experienced, the notion rocked her reality. She thought after finding out that Charlie refused to have children and then dealing with his infidelity that she’d never be happy again.
Yet here she was, basking in a brief ray of sun in her drab world.

Ash stacked another log in the outdoor fireplace and dusted his hands off on his jeans.
Sylvee lounged in a deck chair with Piers. She lay between his legs, leaning against his chest, his arms around her. She was wearing jeans, Piers’s T-shirt knotted at one side and Ash’s jacket. He had to admit that seeing her in their clothing had his balls throbbing with the need to see all of it wadded up on the floor. But he also longed to see her in that pretty blue dress that matched her eyes again.
“Isn’t it odd to have a fire at this time of day?” She hadn’t spoken in the half hour since she came outside. The soft glow he’d seen in her pretty face before the call had faded, leaving a small crease between her brows.
