I tug on his tie and pull his face to mine. “Of course I love you.” I press a kiss to his mouth, moaning as he parts my lips with his tongue.

“God, I missed you,” he says between kisses.

“I missed you too,” I pant, running my free hand through his hair.

We go at it for a minute before stopping to catch our breath. I have to rest my forehead against his for a second to catch my breath.

And then I lean back and look at him. “I’m sorry I was so cold to you when you left for LA,” I say, the guilt and pain from that night still raw.

He shakes his head. “You don’t have to apologize. I understand why you reacted that way. I made it seem like I was choosing a job over us.”

I cup his face in my hands. “Are you sure about coming back to Denver and leaving behind your job at MGT?” I ask. “I don’t want to be the reason why you say no to an opportunity you want to pursue.”

“I’m sure.” He says it while looking me straight in the eye without even blinking. Like he’s never been more certain of anything.

“I’m sorry I left, Tori.” He cups my face with this hand. “I got caught up in trying to do what I thought would make my dad proud—what I thought he wanted me to do. But I was miserable. What makes me happy is being here with you. Always.”

I close my eyes and nuzzle my cheek into his palm before looking at him. “And making sandwiches.”

He chuckles. “Obviously.”

“Seriously though, your Instagram fans missed you,” I say. “Have you checked your account lately? Your fans are dying for more sandwich videos from you.”

He grins. “I missed filming and posting to my account,” he says. “All that time away made me realize just how much I want to get back to it. I want to focus on my Instagram more. I want to try to make it my full-time career. I know it’s a long shot, but…”

I grab his hand, pulling it to my chest. “It’s not a long shot, Tyler. You’re a talented cook and you’re so engaging on camera. Your followers love you for that. You’re going to be so successful at this. I know it.”

He gently grabs my chin and leads me to his mouth. He presses a sweet, soft kiss to my lips. He starts to pull away, but I place my hand on the back of his neck, holding him against my mouth. He groans as I tilt his head back, deepening the kiss.

“You need to rest,” he says through ragged breath.

I make a whiny noise as we break our kiss.

“Believe me, I want to keep going,” he says, his voice a low growl. “But you need to rest. And we can’t risk the medical staff—or my family—walking in on us fooling around.”

I chuckle. “Okay yeah, that’s a good point.”

He twists around to look at my cast. “Once you’re cleared to go home, I’m taking care of you. I should move in with you.”

My breath catches at what he’s said.

He turns back around to look at me. “Unless that freaks you out. If you think it’s too soon…”

I shake my head. I pull him close. “It’s not. That would be amazing.”

A relieved smile tugs at his lips. I glance at my ankle, suddenly remembering that Maya and Theo’s wedding is at the end of this month.

“Crap…” I mutter.

“What’s wrong?”

“I’ll be in this cast for six weeks. I’m a bridesmaid in Maya and Theo’s wedding, and that’s in four weeks. I’ll have to use my crutches when I walk down the aisle, but I’ll need to figure out how to hold my bouquet too…” I shake my head, already stressed. “What a mess.”

Tyler flashes that sexy, confident grin. “Don’t worry. I’ve got you.”
