Nigel reappears with what looks like an adult-sized pair of trousers that might actually fit me.

I head back into my dressing room to change. I manage to get the trousers that are meant for a teenage boy off of me without ripping them and change into the proper pants.

“How do they fit, son?” Nigel hollers from outside of the room.

“Better. Thanks.”

I straighten the matching black jacket I’m wearing and crisp white shirt, then rejoin Gage and Theo at the mirror.

They’re staring at their phones, laughing. They look up and nod at me.

“Nice. Those actually fit you,” Theo says. Gage nods in agreement.

I turn back to the mirror to make sure it all looks okay when I hear them chuckling behind me.

I turn around. “What are you guys laughing about?”

“Check the group text,” Theo says.

I pull my phone, which I had on silent, from my jacket pocket. My eyes go wide at the photo of my bulging crotch. I do a quick skim of the comments.

Theo: Check out Tyler’s banana hammock lol

Maya: My eyes! I’ve gone blind!

Maya: WTF why did you send that??!!

Becca’s response is a wide-eyed emoji

Gage’s response is a string of laughing emojis.

I roll my eyes.

“Very funny,” I mutter.

“Ah, come on, you’d be laughing if it wasn’t you,” Gage says.

“No shit,” I mumble and shake my head.

Nigel walks up to us, and Theo and Gage quickly stop laughing. While Nigel pins our suits, Gage looks at me.

“I noticed your girlfriend didn’t comment on your photo in the chat,” he says.

Theo grins. “She doesn’t have to. She already knows what he’s packin’.”

He’s jokingly elbows me, but I don’t laugh. Instead, I’m silently freaking out, wondering what exactly she thinks of that picture of my bulging dick.

Is she grossed out? Horrified? Annoyed at the juvenile sense of humor Gage, Theo, and I share?

Or…maybe she’s disappointed and that’s why she’s quiet…maybe she’s had better…bigger… guys in her past and she’s not impressed at what that photo clearly shows.

I start to feel sick, even though I know how messed up it is to think that. I shouldn’t be thinking about this. It’s none of my business what Tori likes or doesn’t like, size-wise. We’re not a real couple.

Tell that to my idiot male brain though.

Nigel finishes pinning Gage’s and Theo’s suits. As he works on me, he tells us to come back in two weeks for the next fitting. Theo tells him a few of his teammates will be by to try on their suits before then.

Gage and Theo head to the dressing room and change back into their street clothes.
