She snorts and shakes her head. “I will never say those words,” she sasses, causing my black slacks to suddenly get a little tight in the crotch.

I can’t help but laugh. Leaning forward, I place a small kiss on the tip of her nose. “Come on, Cupcake. I wanna dance with my baby and baby mama.”

Hallie

If you would have told me six months ago I’d love being wrapped in Logan Johnson’s arms, I would have called you a liar. No way would I have thought I’d be anywhere close to where my life is sitting at the moment. Having a baby, living with the man I love, and hoping to spend the rest of my life beside him. It most definitely isn’t what I pictured, but I wouldn’t want it any other way.

“What time do you think we can slip out?” Logan asks, his body pressed tightly against mine as we move on the dance floor.

“Soon,” I murmur, thinking about the lingerie I have waiting back at the house. I’ve successfully hidden the nightgown I purchased that weekend I went shopping with Blair, with the goal of wearing it tonight after the wedding reception.

“What’s that look for?” he asks, pausing his movements.

“What look?” I ask coyly.

The start of a wicked grin starts to spread across his face. “The look that says you want me to strip you naked right here in the middle of the dance floor and do naughty things to your body.”

My heart rate jumps significantly. “Well, maybe not here, considering my entire family is in attendance,” I quip, glancing over to see both my brother and his new bride, as well as my parents, dancing.

“Hmm,” he hums, pulling me snuggly against his body. There’s no missing the erection pressed against the side of my stomach. “But it definitely has something to do with me stripping you naked.”

“It does,” I confirm. “I might have purchased something special for later this evening.”

His already dark eyes turn molten. “Yeah? Tell me more,” he mutters.

“Well, it’s a very light shade of pink and hugs my girls…” I shift my leg to brush against his cock. “…perfectly.”

A gravelly groan hits my ear as his hands press firmly against my lower back. “Vixen.”

“Mmm,” I sing, leaning forward so my mouth brushes against his earlobe. “It’s silky and long and has a slit from my ankle all the way up to my...” I pause for dramatic effect. “…hip.”

Suddenly, I’m moving. He takes my hand in his and practically drags me off the dance floor, heading straight for the exit.

“Wait, my stuff,” I blurt out, noticing a few wedding guests turning our way.

Logan stops and exhales. “Be quick,” he insists, making me laugh at his clear discomfort.

Leaning forward, I kiss his cheek before glancing down at his crotch. “That looks painful. I’ll be speedy fast,” I say before moving toward our table to retrieve my wrap and clutch.

It’s cold outside and the wrap isn’t super warm, but it’s at least a layer of material against my bare arms and neck. “We’re taking off,” I tell Marcus, TD, and Ellie.

“See you two later,” Ellie replies, a knowing grin on her face.

Marcus’s eyes are on his phone. “Shit, I gotta go.”

“What’s wrong?” TD asks.

“Ava broke down,” he announces, standing up and slipping his phone back into his pocket.

“Oh no. Where?” I ask, wondering if we need to swing by and pick her up.

“Eldridge Road. She wasn’t able to make it completely onto the side of the road, so I need to get over there and pick it up before there’s an accident,” he states.

“Do you want us to meet you there? We can give her a ride home so you don’t have to worry about it,” I offer, even though Eldridge Road is in the opposite direction of where Logan and I live.

“Naw,” he replies, pushing in his chair. “She said someone just picked her up and is taking her home.”

He’s gone before I can ask who, but as long as she has a ride, that’s the most important thing.
