All I want is to be with him.

Relief crosses his face. By agreeing to a future with him, I’m agreeing not to end my life. But he doesn’t need to worry anymore, because I want to live with him. For him. To savor every moment we have on this earth together.

“Oh, by the way, I have good news.” I pull my phone out of my pocket and open the student portal app. When I pass it to him, he examines the screen for a long moment before his eyes widen.

“You passed your calculus exam?” he asks.

“I did! I got a C, but you know what they say. C’s get degrees.”

Alek lets out an earnest laugh, which earns us odd looks from nearby tables. When I make eye contact with the other students, they glance away.

He grins. “I’m proud of you, malishka. Well done.”

My body lights up beneath his praise. “It’s all thanks to you.”

“You just needed the right tutor. One willing to tailor their approach to your… unique needs.”

His hand comes to rest on my thigh under the table, and I let out a small gasp as he slides it beneath my skirt.

“Alek, what if someone sees?”

“Can you come without screaming, malishka?” he growls near my ear. “Perhaps we should test your willpower.”

His hand grows closer to my pussy. Per his preference, I left my panties at home again, and at this rate, my chair will be soaked by the end of lunch.

Konstantin plops down in the seat across from us with his meal tray. Alek yanks his hand away, his jaw clenched.

“Hey, the team’s been asking about you,” he says to Alek, completely ignoring my presence as usual.

“I’ve been busy,” Alek answers in a clipped tone.

“Will you be there tonight? We have that big match coming up on Friday and could really use you.”

“No.”

Konstantin’s relaxed expression falters. “Why not?”

“Tutoring.” Alek gives me a devious grin before taking a bite out of his apple, his eyes focused on me. My hand flies over my mouth to stifle a giggle, but it’s no use.

When Konstantin turns his gaze onto me, his blame is evident on his face.

It’s selfish, but I like how Alek spends all his time with me. I’m the sole object of his attention in and out of school, and I relish every moment I have him to myself. If Konstantin wasn’t such an asshat, maybe I’d feel a little sorry for him.

But I don’t. Instead, I give him a look that says, I win.

“Maybe tomorrow,” Konstantin says, though he doesn’t sound confident.

Alek shoots him an annoyed look. “Do you mind? I need some one-on-one time with my student.”

“Yeah, sorry. See you around.”

He picks up his tray and heads to the Aristocrats’ table where Irina is waiting. Watching Alek put him in his place is a fucking delight.

Johanna is nowhere to be found. These days, I only see her in class.

“Now, where were we?” Alek asks. “Oh, right. I have a surprise for you.”

I perk up. “Really? What is it?”
