“It would need to be bigger though, obviously.”

“Obviously.” Spencer smiles. “How much bigger do you think we can get?”

He brings out his phone and starts googling beds.

“The biggest possible,” Toshi says. “I mean there might actually be nights where all five of us share a bed.”

I feel my skin flushing at the thought of it, especially since Toshi’s speaking like this to the only one of our mates that I’ve haven’t even gotten a real kiss from yet.

“There might be,” Spencer admits, his own skin flushing again.

It’s so funny. He really doesn’t look like the type to blush.

He’s a big, sexy Alpha with the face of a movie star and the body of a guy who’s never out of the gym. His confidence levels should be completely off the charts.

“What about this?” Spencer asks, showing Toshi and me a bed that looks like it would be big enough for ten people. At least.

“There’s no way that would fit through the door,” Toshi says. “But it’s a good start.”

“I mean, we could get it through one of the windows,” Spencer says.

I glance over at those windows. They definitely look big enough.

“I didn’t think those opened. I mean, the bigger panels.”

“The one on the end does. We had to use it for the couch when we worked out it wasn’t separate parts bolted together.”

“Okay, wow.” I laugh, because that’s actually insane.

“This one looks more like it,” Spencer says, showing a bed that looks smaller, maybe by half.

It’s still huge, but it’s probably practical, if we might all want to share a bed.

“Is it the dream bed, though?” I ask.

“Yeah,” Spencer says. “It’s the dream bed. I had Echo check the make and model and firmness of E.A.’s bed when he said it was amazing. I wrote it in the notes on my phone, for when we needed to get a new one.”

“I’m impressed.” I can’t believe he went to all that trouble.

“Now that Toshi and Echo have both said it’s amazing, I’m thinking I should just get it ordered up.”

He looks at me. “Wait a second. You’ve slept on it, too. What did you think?”

“It’s a pretty comfy bed,” I admit. “I can’t say I didn’t notice.”

“I’m going to be expecting something spectacular now,” he says. “If this arrives and it’s not the comfiest thing I’ve ever laid down on …”

“You’ll be happy anyway because you’ve made the rest of us happy,” Toshi finishes for him.

“Well, yeah. You know me too well, Toshi Takahashi.”

“Okay, it’s ordered,” Spencer says, putting his phone down. “What now?”

“Maybe a movie?” Toshi suggests.

“Sure,” I tell him. “Just not one of those three-hour superhero ones.”

Spencer laughs. “I guarantee he was about to pick one of those.”
