Page 26 of Loving Gabe

“Pulling of the hair sounds fun. What else sounds fun?” I ask with a smirk. She may kill me for this, but it’s my right as her best friend to tease her.

“Maybe a spanking; that always sounds so hot, or just having someone fuck you all night until you both are exhausted and can’t move anymore,” she says.

“That does sound fun. I’d be happy to show you,” Theo says from the doorway.

She jumps at his voice and turns beet red when she sees all of my brothers and Gabe standing at the doorway.

Well, most of my brothers, since Hudson went back to his club.

“I hate you,” she hisses.

“I love you too,” I say before blowing her a kiss.

“What are you guys doing here?” I ask before getting up to greet Gabe with a kiss.

“We took the rest of the day off. We wanted to see if you wanted to go for lunch,” Gabe says.

“I think we were going to have a girl’s day since you all were supposed to be working,” I tell him.

“That’s okay. You girls have fun talking about your dirty fantasies,” Theo says.

Christina doesn’t say anything. She’s painfully shy around anyone she finds attractive.

“Keep thinking of those. We may have to try a few later,” Gabe whispers in my ear.

I can’t help but be turned on by his words.

“I’m looking forward to it,” I reply. I pull away, but keep looking into his eyes to show him just how much I mean it.

They all leave, but I see Theo giving Christina a heated look before he walks out. She doesn’t look at him, so she doesn’t see it.

“I can’t believe you did that to me,” she says as soon as they are gone.

I shrug my shoulders. “I’m sure you will get me back.”

“You didn’t tell me your brothers were so hot,” she says with a grin.

“I don’t think of my brothers as hot,” I say dryly.

“Well, they are. Too bad I’m shy as fuck around men,” she says with a sigh.

“You will find someone who doesn’t mind the shyness,” I tell her.

“Maybe,” she says, but I can tell she doesn’t believe a word of it.

We spend the day together having lunch and then shopping. It’s a carefree day and one that I really needed.

Sometimes hanging out with a good friend is all you need.

I get a text message interrupting my thoughts.

Kalen: I’m sorry baby. It’s not what you think.

I scoff at the message. It’s exactly what I think.

Me: We’re over. Lose this number.

Kalen: We are so good together. I know you miss me, baby.
