“Landon, my man.” Keegan claps me on the shoulder. “Have you found your virgin yet?”

“Of course. Would you expect anything less?”

He laughs and shakes his head. “I should’ve known.”

“How the hell did you find a virgin date already? I’m seriously starting to doubt any of the chicks on campus, hell all the campuses around here more like it, are.” Ryan chimes in.

“What the fuck? I know none of the chicks you bang are virgins.” Bryson says and all the guys cackle.

“It’s okay to admit you’re jealous, man. I catch more tail in a week than you do in a year.” I tease and everyone hoots.

We bust each other’s balls all the time, this house overflowing with competitive testosterone.

“All I’m saying is, my girl just might have to lie a bit.” Lukas says. Bryson and I groan. This guy and his damn girlfriend. Who seriously has time for that bullshit?

“Girlfriends aren’t allowed.” I declare like I make the rules or some shit.

“Fuck that.” Lukas responds.

“Relax, relax.” Keegan says. He’s the frat president and pretty much has the final say. “We can make an exception for girlfriends like we always do. There’s only a few guys with one. Anyway, let’s get this meeting started. I have somewhere important to be.”

“Yes, boss.” I salute him. “I’ll round up the team.” With my loud booming voice, I’m always the one making the rounds and getting all the guys to sit in the large dining room we use for meetings.

“Let’s go, assholes. We’ve got a meeting to start.” I clap my hands and shout as I make my way through the living room and outside. Around the backyard, I gather the last of the stragglers and we all pile in.

It’s standing room only at this point, as brothers drag in chairs from other rooms and some take a seat on the floor. Keegan saved me a seat next to him which I happily take.

We spend the next couple of hours going over the upcoming frat events. This year’s main focus is on raising money since the house needed some repair work done over the summer. Therefore, most of the events will require tickets or a pay at the door option.

“Like we have in the past, there’ll be sign up sheets for events you’d like to help run, which includes set up and clean up, food and drink responsibilities, and getting the invites out. We want to spread the word as much as possible and invite everyone you see, even if it’s the nerdy punk who hates parties, or the same Joe Schmo you walk by on the way to class everyday, or even a complete stranger.” Keegan explains. “Our first event is in exactly two weeks. This one is for frat members only.”

He goes on to explain the ask a virgin party details and rules, along with the best dressed competition. “The only real rule- take someone’s virginity that night.” Keegan smirks and all of the guys hoot and cheer.

Ha! Where the hell do these guys think they’ll find a virgin? Gonna be tough considering I nabbed the only one on campus.

“Any questions before we wrap up?”

“Can Landon be our official party bartender?” Felix pipes up and tosses me a grin.

All of the guys turn their attention to me. As cocky as I may be, when it comes to my drink slinging skills, I’m not so quick to offer myself up.

Hell, I’m studying business, about to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in it, when the last thing I want to do is run my father’s company or one like it. But what else is there for me?

A pro surfer? Nope.

A forever fraternity brother? Definitely not.

Business is the smartest choice, the best career move.

But your passion is mixing drinks…

I ignore the thought.

“I have no objection to that. If you mix drinks at our events, that’ll be your contribution as far as helping goes.”

I grin wide like a kid with candy. “You mean, no setting up or cleaning?”

“Yep, that’s the deal.”
