“Tourist? For what?”
“A lot of people visit Clifton and stay at the bed and breakfast or they’re staying at the Bur Oak guest ranch in Spring City. Every year, from May until October, the towns are packed with visitors. The Bur Oak closed for the season at the end of August, but the b and b stays open until mid-October.”
“I wondered where they were all coming from. So, what happened with that man?”
“Nothing. Noah Conway happened to come by and walked me to my car. He stopped in front of the man and stared at him. The man put his cigarette out and walked away. Can’t blame him for that. Noah is one big man. He’s six five and solid muscle. He’d intimidate anyone.”
“Noah Conway? How do I know that name?” He frowned.
“He’s Hailey’s brother. She’s married to Gage, Gray’s brother. He also makes saddles.”
“Conway saddles?”
“Yes.”
“That’s all I own. He’s great. Well, I’m glad he was there to help you.”
“That man gave me the creeps.” She looked at him.
“Keep an eye out for him and let me know if you see him hanging around again.”
“I will.”
He touched her hair, leaned in, and pressed his lips to hers. When she moaned, he pulled her across his lap, and deepened the kiss. He slowly raised his lips, gazed into her eyes.
“I want you so much, Addison. I don’t think I can get enough of you.”
“I hope not. Take me to bed, cowboy.”
He rose up from the sofa in one fluid motion, his arms wrapping around her waist as he lifted her effortlessly and strode down the hallway to her bedroom. With a swift kick, he closed the door behind them and walked to the bed, gently placing her on it before lying down beside her, then he rolled to the edge of the bed, pulled off his boots with each making a thud when they hit the floor, and moved back toward her. His hand caressed her waist and traced the hem of her shirt, slowly lifting it over her head and tossing it aside.
“God, your breasts are perfect,” he murmured as he gazed at her. His lips sought out one nipple, sucking and teasing it with his tongue while she gripped his hair tightly. Gradually moving downwards, he peppered kisses along her stomach until he reached the end of the bed. Standing up, he deftly removed her pants and dropped them carelessly on the floor. Straightening up again, he took in the sight of her laying there in nothing but black bikini panties.
“You’re killing me,” he groaned.
She held her arms out to him invitingly. “Come here.”
“I’ll get there,” he teased with a grin. “But there’s something I need to do first.” With a playful glint in his eye, he leaned down and hooked his fingers into the elastic band of her panties, tugging them down slowly, and tossed them. He trailed kisses along her legs. When he reached the juncture of her thighs, he raised his head to stare into her eyes.
“I’ve been wanting to do this since the first time I saw you,” he murmured huskily before sliding his tongue along her slick slit. She squirmed and shifted under his touch, eliciting a chuckle from him. “Patience, darlin’, patience.”
“To hell with patience,” she growled impatiently, but her breath caught in her throat as he placed his mouth over her clitoris and began to suck.
He continued until she came, causing her to cry out. He kissed his way back up her body until their lips met in a deep and passionate kiss. She tugged at his T-shirt, quickly tossing it to the floor before unbuckling his belt and unzipping his jeans. As she slid her hand into his boxer briefs and grasped his hard length, he could barely control himself. Reaching behind him, he took out a condom from his wallet and handed it to her with a smile. She opened it with her teeth and slowly rolled it down over him, making him grit his teeth. With one swift motion, she pushed down his jeans and looked into his eyes.
“Please do that again,” she said teasingly.
“Yes, ma’am. I’ll always aim to please,” he replied with a grin.
She laughed before sobering as he eased into her. Their lips met again as they moved together. She wrapped her legs around him tightly, eliciting a groan from him. He rolled onto his back, pulling her on top of him. She sat up and began sliding up and down his hard length. He tried to slow her down by holding onto her hips, but she shook her head and continued moving at her own pace.
He watched her face, every muscle tense and strained with pleasure. But he wasn’t ready to let her fall just yet. With a deep breath, he sat up and wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her closer until their bodies were pressed together. He captured her lips in a passionate kiss, his tongue seeking out hers as they moved together in perfect rhythm. The world seemed to fade away as they explored each other’s mouths, lost in the sensation.
Suddenly, with a low growl, he flipped her onto her back and entered her with urgent force. But as ecstasy flooded through him, he rolled off her and motioned for her to turn over onto her belly. Without hesitation, she complied, lifting her hips to meet his touch. He positioned himself behind her and slid into her once more, taking her with unrestrained force.
Cody saw her hands gripping the sheets tightly as he continued to drive into her. Her moans and groans only fueled his desire further, igniting a fire within him that threatened to consume them both. Unable to resist any longer, he leaned over and brushed her hair aside before pressing gentle kisses along the curve of her neck.
