“Seriously, I’m glad you’re finally happy, sis. Gray is a great guy.”

“Yes, he is.”

“But if he ever hurts you, I will hunt him down. I wanted to kick Chad’s ass, but you wouldn’t let me.”

“There was no need. I understood why he divorced me,” Vivian said in a low tone of voice.

“Bullshit, sis. He should have stood by you,” Cody growled out.

“But then I wouldn’t have Grayson in my life.” She smiled at him.

“True, and he is a much better man than Chad, and I know he’s going to be thrilled about the baby.”

“He is going to be very excited. We didn’t know if I’d be able to get pregnant, so it’s such a blessing.”

“You’ll make great parents.” Cody glanced over at her and grinned when a smile lit up her face.

“I can’t wait to tell Mom and Dad, too. They’ll be so happy.”

“Yes, they’ll visit once you have the baby.”

Their parents had moved from Helena to Arizona for the warmer weather. Cody mentally shook his head. He couldn’t ever see leaving Montana. He was born and raised here, where he hoped to die. He understood, though. His dad didn’t want to deal with the snow anymore, and it was too hard for him to shovel it, even though Cody told him he’d do it for him.

“I hate they moved so far away, but I’m sure they’ll come to visit their new grandson once the baby is born.”

“Grandson? How can you know the sex of the baby already?”

Vivian shrugged. “I don’t, but I feel another Beckett boy is on the way.”

Shaking his head, he knew it was best to never argue with a woman, even if that woman was his sister.

When he drove up, he stared at Vivian and Grayson’s home. The gorgeous place made him think of the house he’d purchased. He was eager to move into it.

He stopped the truck and looked at his sister to see her quickly blinking her eyes.

“Hey, are you okay?”

She looked at him and smiled.

“I’m wonderful. I can’t wait to see the look on his face.”

“I’m sure he’ll be over the moon.”

“Stay with me when I tell him, Cody,” she said.

“Are you sure? Isn’t this something you two should do together? I can disappear to the guest room.”

“I want my big brother with me.” She reached for his hand. “Please.”

“All right.” He shut the truck off, opened his door, and stepped out.

Vivian met him at the front of the truck, and a big grin lit up her face when the back door opened, and Gray stepped onto the porch. He grinned at Vivian, then looked at him.

“Hey, Cody. I appreciate you taking Vivian to her appointment. She won’t hear of me telling her to get a new car.”

“I like my Envoy.”

“I know you do, darlin’, but it’s getting up there in years. A newer one would be better.” Gray grinned at Cody.
