“Youwill!”Nataliepunctuated her confidence with a grin.Kimwatched her neighbor’s eyes widen whenSpenceflashed his most charming grin.

“Talkto you later,Nat.”Kimopened her door.Whenthey were in the apartment, she punched his arm. “Yourealize that smile is lethal?”

Hisblue eyes twinkled as he protested. “What?”

“Youknow whatI’mtalking about,”Kimlaughed. “Asyour girlfriend,Idon’t think you should flirt like that.YouhadNatalieswooning.”

Hehugged her as he pulled her into his arms. “Jealous,Popcorn?”

“No!Imean… if we’re supposed to be together, watch that flirting.”

“Kim,Ionly flirt with you.”

Hereyebrows rose. “Spencer, you don’t know the effect you have on women.Luckyfor you, we’re fake-dating, orI’dknock some sense into you.”

“Youthink?” he countered, lifting her off her feet. “Ifyou did that,I’dhave to… tickle you!”Kimsquealed and squirmed to break free.Ashe deposited her on the couch, he chuckled.Theywrestled a bit,Kimgiggling and batting at his arms to make him stop.

“Oh,God,Spence, please stop.”

Spencepinned her to the sofa, a wicked grin on his face. “Youdon’t like that?”

“It’storture!”

Theireyes met, andKimsawSpenceturn serious. “WhatI’dlike…”

Entrancedby his gaze,Kimwhispered, “What?”

Theirmouths met as he lowered his head.Theembrace began soft and probing.Kimwrapped her arms around him, welcoming and urging him to deepen the kiss.Shemelted against him, andSpencetrailed his fingers along her shoulders and arms, kneading her muscles.

“Muchbetter,”Kimmurmured against his mouth.Thekisses grew more intense as his hands skirted her hips, then cupped her bottom and pulled her against him.Kimshivered as electricity pulsed through her body.Sheraised her palms to his face, threading her fingers through his thick hair.Shepressed against his solid frame, wanting the moment never to end.Noone had ever kissed her like that.

Timestopped asKimlost herself in his embrace.Spenceleaned his forehead against hers, andKimcould feel his heart throb against her chest.Hersperformed a series of flip-flops before returning to normal.

ShesawSpence’smouth twitch in an almost smile before brushing his lips against hers. “Youdon’t know how muchIwant to be with you,Kim,” his voice so low that she strained to hear him.Headded a tender kiss before pulling back, his blue eyes dark with desire.Hisfingers trailed across her cheek; he opened his mouth to speak and then shook his head. “Icrossed the line, babe.I’msorry.”

Shepressed her finger against his lips. “Don’tsay that,Spence.Youdidn’t.Iwanted you to…”Shesmiled, covering his hand on her cheek, her voice trailing off. “Noneed to apologize.”

Spencesighed as he pulled back, bringingKimwith him.Hisleg pressed against hers as they sat side by side on the couch. “Idon’t want to take advantage of you,Popcorn.”

“Youdidn’t.Ididn’t push you away,Spence.Thekiss was... amazing.I...Noone’s kissed me that way.Pleasedon't regret it.”
