I have to. Kallum is right. We have to start somewhere. As it stands now, there’s no way I can just bend over a table and trust them to do anything to me that doesn’t involve my pain and suffering. And, if I can’t do that AND relax enough to be released, I’ll be Reyn’s property before I know it. He may treat Gwennie as well as a human slave can expect, but being his prized pet and impregnated by whatever human male he sees fit to give me to would be a fate worse than death.

Shakily, I unbutton the front of my trousers. My eyes flick nervously to Kallum. He’s sitting in a chair at the table, looking through one of his bags and not paying any attention to me.

Emboldened by his indifference to what I’m doing, I flip my hand under the cloth and find my slit, brushing my fingertips against it, teasing myself just a little. I bring my fingers to my lips, wet them, and return them to their task. My eyes slip closed as I circle the high, sensitive bud and let out a small sigh. I rub gently with three of my fingers, letting the first stirrings of arousal make my abdomen clench pleasurably.

I inadvertently begin to imagine what I usually would in the rare times that I’d pleasure myself in my small room in Alcana. I’m amongst the library’s tall shelves late at night when I stumble upon Grey, Dane, and Kallum in the dim light. One of them grabs me, demands to know what I’m doing there, and accidentally pulls my bracelet off. They see that I’m human, and their eyes flare with need and … I hope that none of The Cunty Trio ever find out about this … they surround me, tearing off my clothes, their hands and their fingers moving over me, leaving no part of me untouched.

I’m laid back on one of the long tables the students use to study, and my legs are spread wide.

I bite back a moan, and my fingers edge downwards, but my trousers are in the way. I let out a sound of frustration.

‘I’ve already seen you. Remember?’ a voice says, cutting through my imaginings. ‘Take them off.’

I nod, not opening my eyes, and I pull them down, kicking them away hard and spreading my legs on the bed as wide as they are in my mind’s eye. The one between my legs is Kallum, I decide, and he doesn’t wait, shoving his fingers into me as the other two hold my legs, and I struggle to escape. I squeal and squirm, but they don’t let me go. I push one finger into myself, far more gently than in my fantasy. I pump it in and out as I rub above it in quick circles, my body shifting and my breathing quickening as I get closer to the precipice that I can’t wait to fall from.

I widen my legs further, imagining that they’re being pulled that way, thinking about their hungry eyes staring down at me, telling Kallum to be more forceful. He takes his fingers out and pushes his hard cock into me, fucking me in hard, measured strokes, and that’s as far as I get before my hips buck. I whimper as my inner walls flex, almost forcing my finger out, and I come hard with a cry.

I’m panting as I relax in the aftermath of pleasure, my body shaking a little with it. I ease my finger out and sigh, and then my cheeks heat as I remember Kal is watching. How could I have forgotten? Is it too much to hope for that he’s still ignoring me?

I cringe as I open my eyes to find him still at the table. But he’s not pretending to go through his pack anymore. His eyes are on me, unblinking and dark with desire. The need in the imagined version of him didn’t do the real him justice at all, I realize.

I close my legs and shuffle up the bed to hide myself belatedly.

His hands are gripping the wooden armrests of the chair so hard I think he’s going to crush them.

He swallows hard and blinks, finding my eyes. ‘Well, at least we know you can do it,’ he says rather faintly.

He looks away suddenly. ‘The others will be back soon. You should get dressed.’

I nod, grabbing my trousers that are strewn on the other side of the bed.

‘What were you thinking about?’ he asks, his tone too nonchalant.

‘I … uh…’ I scramble to think of a convincing lie. ‘Nothing, really.’

I inwardly flinch at the uncertainty in my own voice.

‘Nothing? You got excited very quickly from thinking about nothing,’ he remarks casually. ‘Maybe I should try it.’ He stands up but doesn’t come any closer as I sit at the edge of the bed and put on my clothes.

His eyes move over me. ‘On second thought, I think I’ll stick to my usual imaginings.’

My eyes widen as I stare at the floor. Does he mean that he thinks of …

I hear the creak of the stairs outside and stand up quickly, pulling my trousers up and fastening them before rebuttoning my tunic. I practically throw myself into the bed, trying to pretend that I’m resting by grabbing the nearest thing to hand, which happens to be that awful book about taking care of a human slave.

Ugh.

I open it and pretend to read as I try to slow my quick breathing and then scowling when I hear Kallum’s laugh, which quickly turns into a cough at my expression. He goes to the door and unbolts it. Grey and Dane trudge inside.

They look at me and at Kallum. Tension that I don’t understand the cause of crackles through the air. They couldn’t know what I did, could they?

I give myself a mental shake. I’m acting paranoid. It’s probably from being cooped up in this room for days with the three of them watching me all the time.

Kallum frowns at them, his eyes narrowing a fraction. Is that suspicion I see in his face as well?

‘Did something happen at the market?’ he asks.

‘Aye,’ Dane says, putting down his bundles of purchases on the table. ‘We saw Reyn.’ Dane glances at me. ‘He thinks it’s time to get you moving around a bit. Told us to bring you to him today instead of him coming here.’
